The 10 Hottest Bond Girls: Number 9

Number 9 on my list of the 10 Hottest Bond Girls is from the Roger Moore era of James Bond films.

This movie came out in 1973 when I was a freshman in college. It was the first film I remember seeing the actress in and was overcome by her beauty. With the help of very little makeup, her naturally pretty was quite evident. And those eyes!!! Oh my Gosh, those eyes. They that could see into a man's soul and know everything; past, present, and future, about the man.

The actress was 22 years old when she made this film and her innocence, coupled with the sexiness of the character, is a natural fit for number 9 on my list. She was an excellent choice as "THE" Bond girl for Moore's debut as 007.

As may of my fellow bloggers know, I am a movie buff. I love old movies (and even some of the newer ones).

One of my favorite movie genres is James Bond. I try never to miss a James Bond movie when they come on. Now that I have a DVR, I record them in case I have other commitments when they air.

I am going to start a 10-part list with his blog post. My list will entail, in my opinion, the 10 hottest Bond girls. I do not want to hear anything about this post as being sexist. My Lovely Bride has issued her official Stamp of Approval for the posts.

Obama Clan to Play Active Roles at Democratic National Convention

Barack HUSSEIN Obama seems to be keeping it the family.

Michelle Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be the featured first-night speakers at the Democratic National Convention, which also will include a videotaped message from Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Michelle Obama will be introduced by her brother, Craig Robinson, a former basketball star at Princeton and now coach at Oregon State, on the first night on Aug. 25. Barack Obama's half sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, also will have a role at the convention.

This sure sounds like the Democratic National Convention will be a good old fashion family reunion.

I wonder if BHO will fly in all his kinfolk for all over the world to celebrate in his coronation?

An Old Scam Casts Doubt on the Citizenship

People in Texas who were delivered by a midwife at private homes are having their citizenship questioned. In the early 1990s, dozens of midwives were convicted of forging U.S. birth certificates for about 15,000 children born in Mexico as far back as the 1960s.

I for one am glad some of these citizenship issues are being looked into. There is no counting the number of people who claim they were born here and in reality, had forged credentials.

Some will say this issue targets Hispanics (Mexicans). I say so what. I look around my area of Texas and I see so many Mexicans who steal our public services, demand the fruits of our country, yet have no right to them.

I top it off, they refuse to assimilate into our culture; holding on to the culture of their true country.

I could not care less if these people are having their citizenship questioned. I am willing to bet that the majority do have forged credentials.

UPDATE: Hunter's Sister Urges Edwards Test

ABC News reported on its Web site yesterday that Rielle Hunter's younger sister Melissa said that Edwards should immediately follow through on his pledge to take a paternity test. "I would challenge him to do so," the sister said. The network did not use a last name for Melissa.

"Somebody must stand up and defend my sister," she said. "I wish that those involved would refrain from bad-mouthing my sister."

Hunter's sister said Rielle was being falsely portrayed as a "promiscuous person" and was not involved in "setting up" Edwards last month at a Beverly Hills hotel, where he was confronted by reporters from the National Enquirer.

"She is a good and honest person, the sweetest and most caring woman one could ever hope to meet," Melissa said. "Do you think it's easy for us to just sit back and let everyone rip her to shreds and not defend her honor?"

How can someone be a "good and honest person, the sweetest and most caring woman one could ever hope to meet" when they are sleeping with a married man when his wife has cancer.

IMHO, she is as much a piece of trash as John Edwards is.

Meanwhile, the editor of the Enquirer, which broke the story of the affair and Hunter's pregnancy, took issue with Edwards's statement distancing himself from photos purporting to be him holding Hunter's baby. Edwards admitted to ABC that he met secretly with Hunter at the Beverly Hilton to try to "keep this from becoming public."

Last week, the Enquirer published a blurry photo of a man who looks like Edwards holding a baby. The tabloid said the photo was taken at the hotel.

Edwards denies the photo is genuine.

Yeah...right!!! As I have said before, they both are a couple of MOOKS!!!

Hunter Rules Out Paternity Test for Daughter, Edwards

The ex-mistress of former presidential candidate John Edwards says she will not participate in DNA testing to establish the paternity of her daughter.

Rielle Hunter's lawyer, Robert Gordon, says his client is a private individual who wishes to maintain the privacy of herself and her daughter.

In a statement, Gordon says that Hunter is ruling out any kind of testing that could establish who the daughter's father is.

On Friday, Edwards admitted to having an extramarital affair with Hunter in 2006 but denied that he was the father of Hunter's five-month-old daughter. Edwards said he will take a paternity test to prove he is not the father.

Of course she is refusing. That can only mean that Edwards has already paid her off to keep her mouth shut. Edwards stating he would take the test is a diversionary tactic.

Edwards Admits Affair

Two of my infamous MOOKS are back in the news. John Edwards admitted to ABC News that he repeatedly lied about an extramarital affair with Rielle Hunter, a 42-year old campaign employee sand self-described filmmaker.

Hunter was paid $114,000 by Edwards' political action committee to produce web documentaries for Edwards' campaign.

Edwards denied he is the father of her child and has offered to take a blood test to prove it.

Yeah, right. And I am going to vote for Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

Turkestan Islamic Party Releases Olympics Threat Video

Another video has been release threatening terrorism with the intent to disrupt the Beijing Olympic Games.

In this video, a previously little known group calling itself the Turkestan Islamic Party claims it carried out several fatal bombings in the country in recent months.

The group's self-described military commander, Seyfullah, said it was responsible for incidents in Shanghai in early May and in the southern city of Kunming on July 21that killed a total of five people.

He also said the group had bombed a plastics factory in the province of Guangdong.

Most ominously, he threatened to carry out further attacks during the Beijing Olympics, which are scheduled to open on tomporrow.

As before, the video begins with Beijing's Olympic logo in flames and with a grainy image of a sports facility superimposed with an animated bomb blast.

Everyone in China needs to be watchful of their surroundings.

Hillary Clinton Seeks Democratic Convention Voice

Barack HUSSEIN Obama's.

James Bond 007 Gun Barrel Openings

I have always been a fan of James Bond. As a teenager, my mother had copies of original Ian Flemings' paperback James Bond novels. I read all of them and now wish I had kept them when she passed away.

TS Edouard Bears Down on Houston

Tropical Storm Edouard is bearing down on the Houston/Galveston area and is expected to make landfall approximately 1:00 PM tomorrow (Tuesday).

The skis are now clear in the area and reports from the area are anticipating 3-4 inches of rain with 8 inches of rainfall a possibility.

Governor Rick Perry (aka Governor Zoolander) has put state emergency management officials on alert to make sure people, property, and criminal aliens are taken care of.

Galveston has not been ordered to evacuate and people are taking a watch and see attitude.

IMHO, this is going to be a storm with a great deal of rain, some wind, and numerous newscasters standing in ankle and thigh deep water tell everyone how bad the storm is.

People I know in the area are not going to evacuate, but did inform me people are hitting WalMart and loading up on batteries, water, can good, and beer.

All this hoopla is much ado about nothing. A storm is coming. It is going to rain. People are going to get some wind.

My suggestion is to hunker down, watch television with a loved one, and enjoy Tuesday off from work.

More reports will be posted when they occur and if they are needed.

Tropical Storm Edouard Headed for Texas

It appears that Tropical Storm Edouard is headed for the upper Texas coast and the Houston area. Clouds and thunderstorms have already entered the Houston/Galveston/Beaumont areas.

This would be the first storm to reach the area and it is only August. The National Hurricane Center has the projected track of Edouard hitting the Texas coast sometime tomorrow night.

It is unclear whether the storms in the Gulf area are a precursor of TS Edouard, but the rain and cooler temperature will be a welcome relief from the ehat.

No matter what happens, the area is going to get hit. Just how seriously the hit will be remains the question.

IOC Feels Media Heat on Internet Restrictions

It has been report by Reuters, in a story by Karolos Grohmann that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on Saturday faced mounting questions over Internet censorship, days before the Beijing Games, despite earlier pledges that its use would be unfettered.

While China has allowed access to some websites that were blocked earlier in the week, many sites still remain inaccessible to reporters covering the Beijing Olympics that start on Aug. 8. On Friday the IOC had said the issue had been resolved.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama's spokesman Hari Sevugan responded sharply to the new McCain webad depicting Obama as a parody of a biblical prophet.

"It’s downright sad that on a day when we learned that 51,000 Americans lost their jobs, a candidate for the presidency is spending all of his time and the powerful platform he has on these sorts of juvenile antics. Senator McCain can keep telling everyone how ‘proud’ he is of these political stunts which even his Republican friends and advisors have called ‘childish’, but Barack Obama will continue talking about his plan to jumpstart our economy by giving working families $1,000 of immediate relief."

I call the act of a man writing a prayer on a piece of paper and placing it in Westen Wall and supposely having it stolen as juvenile antics.

Frankly, when all of this started, I got suspicious. No one retrieved McCain's prayer note when he visited there in March. In fact, I can't remember any public figure's prayer being published.

Obama spokesman Bill Burton flatly denied the contention that Obama's prayer, in the form of a note slipped into the Wailing Wall, was "approved for publication."

"That didn't happen," he said in an email. "We have neither confirmed nor denied the prayer to anyone."

This in apparent response to the claim of the publishing newspaper, Ma'ariv, that "Barack Obama's note was approved for publication in the international media" before Obama even arrived at the Wall.

What a conniving little weasel BHO is. He did this to gain favor in the Jewish community. Nothing more...nothing less. Is this the kind on man we want in the White House calling the shots.

I found a very interesting site on the Olympic Games that are being held in Beijing. It is called Beijing Olympics Video.

It is posting interesting videos from Beijing concerning the goings on in Beijing in respect to the Olympics. It is hosted by Tai Shi. Currently he is in England for school and blogs to escape the Chinese sensorship of the internet.

The original Ocean's Eleven was a classic. Don't get me wrong. The remake with George Clooney and Brad Pitt was good, but it does not hold up to the original.

Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and the rest are head's above Clooney's crew. And they did it without special effects.

China to Censor Internet for Foreign Media

China will censor the Internet used by foreign media during the Olympics, an organising committee official confirmed Wednesday, reversing a pledge to offer complete media freedom at the Games.

"During the Olympic Games we will provide sufficient access to the Internet for reporters," said Sun Weide, spokesman for the organising committee.

He confirmed, however, that journalists would not be able to access information or websites connected to the Falungong spiritual movement which is banned in China.

Other sites were also unavailable to journalists, he said, without specifying which ones.

This does not surprise me. China wants to limit all negative or questional media leaving the country during the Games. I do expect some censored media reports will slip out ,as journalists, bloggers, and the such have ways of getting around firewalls.

I Dream of Jeannie

This is a mini-clip of the first episode of "I Dream of Jeannie." This is another great television show of my youth that can NEVER be reproduced.

Look at 2:12 to 2:18 of the clip. In my mind, and I bet many of the males out there, there is nothing sexier than a woman in a man's Arrow dress shirt. Do women know how sexy that is? I KNOW THEY DO!!!!!

Jeannie putting on his shirt and posing in the door remains one of the hottest moment in television history. Yet the censors would not let Barbara Eden show her navel. Figure that one out!

At 1:03, Jeannie says something in Farsi. Translated, I believe she said "You have the face of a wise and handsome caliph ('halifaz')"....in some prints, including the unaired version of the pilot, virtually everything she said in Farsi was translated in on-screen subtitles, 'Kalisabby'...

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was another show from my youth that I watched religously. By today's standards, it was campy and corny, but we did love it. When we played spies, I was always Napoleon Solo and my brother was Illya Kuryakin. We got to be them because we had U.N.C.L.E. guns and no else in the neighborhood did, so they were always the T.H.U.R.S.H. agents.

A Platform for a Third-Party Write-In Candidate

I found this post over at TexasFred. He found it on Southern Sass on Crime.

I "borrowed" it to post here, as I think it is not only funny, but does make a great deal of sense.

I want to thnak them for the information on the list.

Many have posted on the these two blogs that they would support a candidate who ran on such a platform. I have to agree.

Here is the platform for a third party, write-in candidate:

(1) Press 1 for English is immediately banned. English is the official language. Speak it or wait at the border until you can.

(2) We will immediately go into a two-year isolationist posture to straighten out the country’s attitude. NO imports, no exports. We will use the ‘Wal-Mart’ policy: ‘If we ain’t got it, you don’t need it.’

(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.

(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border. (Six month tour) They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

(5) Social Security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn’t put nuttin’ in, you ain’t getting’ nuttin’ out. Neither the president nor any other politician will be able to touch it.

(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week, and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.

(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method: The first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There will be no more life sentences — if you are convicted of a Capitol Offense, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim, gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

(9) One export will be allowed - Wheat — The world needs to eat. A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.

(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease, and the saved money will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we’ll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it’s a worthy cause

(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress — right after a prayer to God.

(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

I love this. Many liberal tree-huggers would fight it, but it would take care of a large number of our country's problems. Even implementing a few of these ideas would make a large different for the better.

Turkistan Islamic Party Threaten Olympics

With less than two weeks to go before the Olympics open in Beijing, the Chinese government is facing the horrendous possibility of terrorist attacks aimed at the Games. On July 23 an apparent terrorist group called the Turkestan Islamic Party released a video taking responsibility for bus bomb blasts a few days before in the southwestern city of Kunming that killed two people. The group also claimed as its own another attack in Shanghai that killed three people in May.

According to global intelligence analysts Stratfor, the Turkestan Islamic Party is another name used by the Islamic Party of East Turkestan (ETIM), an ethnic Uighur and Muslim separatist group seeking to create an independent state out of China’s westernmost, heavily Muslim Xinjiang province. This group has been designated by both the United States and China as a terrorist group.

Something is going to happen at the Olympics. Mark my words. The Olympics are too big a stage not to attempt something. Terrorists bent on destruction will find a way to disrupt the Games.

Do not construe my statement to be a voice of support for the terrorists. I just think some whacko or group of whackos will try something. With their mindset, this may be too big an opportunity not to pass up. If they do, it will have been months, perhaps years in the planning.

We, meaning the decent law abiding people of the world, need to be ready with a response if a terrorist act occurs.

I hope and pray nothing happens, but deep in my bones, I think something will.
