Barack HUSSEIN Obama Quits Church

BREAKING NEWS***BREAKING NEWS***BREAKING NEWS

It is being reported that Barack HUSSEIN Obama (aka Oprah's Love Child) is resigning his 20 year membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago in the aftermath of inflammatory remarks by his longtime pastor the Reverend Jeremiah Wright and more recent fiery remarks by Reverend Michael Pfleger.

I guess the heat got too much for him. This is another reason not to vote for BHO. He cannot be trusted to stick to his guns when the going gets tough.

As I have said numerous times. This guy is very dangerous. He cannot be trusted. How do you think he will stand up against the enemies of this country? He has no backbone. He will fold like a cheap lawn chair.

He knows it. His party knows it. We know it. And more importantly, the enemies of this country know it. Why do you think they support him for President?

PS: How does one resign from a church? I do not know how to do that. Can't he just stop showing up?

Muslim Presentation at Junior High Draws Fire

There is a discussion evolving on the Houston Chronicle website. It is about a junior high school in Friendswood, Texas allow two women from CAIR to present a lesson on Islam. The discussion is pretty heated with both sides going toe to toe with each other.

My post on the site is as follows:

School officials should be investigated and fired for this stupid move. In
addition, parents need to get a truckload of lawyers and sue everyone involved. This is a blatant example of religion being allowed in school. We have a separation of church and state in this country!!!"

That is exactly would the liberal democrats would be saying if Christianity was presented in a school in this matter. Where is their fury? Where is their disgust? Where is their anger? I know where it is. It is too busy helping getting Hilary RODHAM Clinton and Barack HUSSEIN Obama elected to a job neither is qualified to do, in order to be politically correct and (in their words) effect change!

If Christians or Jews were ever to do the same thing, certain
groups would be up in arms. That is the point I was trying to make.

"Liberals hate America, they hate "flag-wavers," they hate abortion
opponents, they hate all religions except Islam (post 9/11). Even Islamic
terrorists don't hate America like liberals do. They don't have the energy. If
they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now." - Ann Coulter

I Am Not A Muslim: Barack Hussein Obama

I got the below post from the Houston Chronicle's comments section from the article "Clinton speaks of faith in face of adversity." I posted on this same article earlier in the week. It was posted by a reader known as "cowardly_draft_dodger."

Read and enjoy. I find it amusing. It might even have a bit of truth to it.

Why I am still a Muslim
By Barack Hussein Obama

1. I was born a Muslim son to a Muslim father.
2. I was raised a Muslim by a Muslim stepfather.
3. As a child, I prayed to Allah.
4. As a young adult I declared my religion as Muslim.
5. I traveled to Pakistan on a trip funded by a Muslim Organization for Muslim College Students.
6. I studied Islam while in Pakistan and attended a Mosque.
7. I imagined myself following the call of [radical Muslim] Malcolm X.
8. I joined a church that did not require me being baptized or to take communion.
9. I have never renounced Islam.
10. I know that the Prophet Muhammad said it was okay for me to lie and claim that I am a Christian when I am not, if it furthers Islam.

Why I am a Christian
By Barack Hussein Obama

1. Because I say I am one (see item 10 above).

The Last Few Days of School are CRAZY!!!

I have been doing a great deal of thinking lately. We have one week of school left and more and more things are coming to mind.

I was standing outside my door between classes today (as we are required to do, but few teachers actually do) and I watched the sea of student humanity passing to their next class. Shirt were untucked, ID badges were not being worn, baggy pants were in abundance, and PDA was in full display.

For those of you who do not know what PDA is, I will explain. PDA is an acronym for "public display of affection."

Young men and women (in reality, boy and girls) walking to class hand in hand. I even caught a glimpse of two girls holding hands. My students know not to do that (any PDA) around me, but it has become impossible to stop it all.

Couples; boy-girl, a few girl-girl, and (thank goodness, no boy-boy action) hug and give a kiss to each other before they go into the class. It does not happen around my room. I always hurry them into the class before they have time to "engage."

What concerns me is that I see administrators walking the halls and they see the same "action" that I do. Some walk right by it and others make a "half-assed" attempt to break it up. They will say "You guys stop that" or "Get to class" while walking by the couple. They do not even stop to make sure their command is followed.

No wonder the students do not listen and comply. They know there is too much action going on and the administration/faculty cannot deal with it all.

One of the things I notice is how many good, level-headed girls are hooking up with, what I call, pieces of trash. They are nice, polite girls. These girls hook up with them, hugging and kissing in the hall. After that, you know what happens next.

The number of pregos, as we affectionately call them, in my classes have increased three-fold this year. I have had a total of twelve pregnant girls this year, out of 90 total students.

As soon as they get pregnant, they show up in class, with a note from the school nurse, stating they may have water (drinks) in class, they can leave the class anytime they need to go to the bathroom, and they can be dismissed early from class to give them time to get to the next class. Some of them have due dates 7-8 months away and they still have the note.

To me, the pregos are getting special privileges for getting pregnant. In addition, the couples have also been given special privileges to "engage" each other in the halls, as I surmise few teachers and administrators are willing to be labeled a pervert or accused of rocking the boat for correcting them.

Some administrators have shut down along with certain teachers. It is a shame because I think we should be vigilant until the final second of the last day of school. But I am considered a dinosaur in my building. That is a title I am proud to wear.

I will continue to correct, remind, encourage, and in certain cases, harass students to do what is right until the last second of the last day of school. After all, that is what I am paid to do.

Preacher Drama Continues for Obama

Reverend Wright may have retired, but the controversy has not ended at Trinity Church of Christ. During a Memorial day weekend service Father Michael Pfleger, a long time friend of Barack Hussein Obama, delivered a sermon in which he accused Hillary Clinton of having a feeling of white entitlement. He went on to say that because of Obama's political success "there was a whole lot of white people crying."

Why anyone would support Barack Hussein Obama and the people he associated with. Peopel need to wakeup or this kind of rehortic will be the standar under his presidency.

Alligators Take Up Residence in Sinkhole

Alligators have taken up residence in the giant sinkhole in Daisetta, Texas. Some local residents claim as many as two alligators have turned the 250-foot deep sinkhole into a private swimming pool.

As I stated earlier, the city officials of Daisetta need to fence off the sinkhole, make the area secure and sell tickets to see everything. They could make some money off this disaster and put some money back into the city's bank account.

Woman Shoots Herself Because of Nakeness

A 73-year-old Fort Worth woman wound up shot after she got into an argument with her son because she wouldn't stop walking around the house naked, according to the Dallas Morning News. Read more by clicking here.

Mom Bertha McElry finally got out her gun. As she was loading it, she wound up shooting herself in the finger.

My questions are why is a 53-year-old man living with his mother and why was she walking around naked?

It takes all kinds in the wacky world.

Libertarians Pick Presidential Candidate

The Libertarian Party has picked former Republican Representative Bob Barr to be its presidential candidate after six rounds of balloting. The party held its convention Denver this past weekend.

Barr beat research scientist Mary Ruwart, who was the party's presidential nominee in 1983 and vice presidential candidate in 1992. Barr left the GOP in 2006 over what he called bloated spending and civil liberties intrusions by the Bush administration.

I watched some of the convention on CSPAN. It was interesting. But when they got to the issue of same-sex marriage, they lost me. Less government does not mean stupid government.

I wish them luck in thei quest. It is a shame they cannot cut into the democratic voters. I know that will never happen. The Libertarian party is for less government and that is the complete opposite of the democrats.

HRC (Hillary) Speaks of Faith in Puerto Rico

In Sunday's Houston Chronicle, Hillary Rodham Clinton is quoted on how her faith is helping her continue her quest for the White House. She made this statement while on a campaign stop in Puerto Rico. Her quote is below:

There isn't anything we cannot do together if we seek God's blessing and if we stay committed and are not deterred by the setbacks that often fall in every life.
She is such a hypocrite. I wonder how many times she has been in a church when it was not a calculated move to influence people to support her and her run for the White House? She uses religion as a tool to achieve her ultimate goals. She is no more religious than the Communist leaders of the old Soviet regime.

Please post your thought. I would like to know what others think on this topic.

Again, please think about our veterans and active military today. That is what Memorial Day is all about.

Wackos Attack a Fellow Blogger

I was reading some of the posts on my blog list today and stopped by Domestic Divapalooza. I have been reading her blog (and numerous previous blogs) for a long time.

She is a good, level headed All America Christian woman who uses her blog to expound her thoughts and beliefs on various topics. Recently, she posted a series of very humorous pictures of what the United States might be like if Barack Hussein Obama gains the White House. I have published some of them below.

If you get a chance click over to her blog and view the pictures and read the comments. I imagine you will be amused at the pictures and pissed at some of the comments left by the great unwashed "liberal" masses. I have posted some of the photos below.

Let's get together and support her against some of the negative comments she is enduring. She is a great woman, a great mother, a great American, and a great Christian.

Obama, McCain and the Religion Factor

There is an article in today's (Sunday, May 25, 2008) online edition of the Houston Chronicle comparing and contrasting Barack Hussein Obama and his relationship with racist, radical preacher Jeremiah Wright and John Sidney McCain and evangelical pastor John Hagee.

The Chronicle article is the same old rhetoric from the liberal press. The interesting comments come from the "Comments" section.

If you get a chance, stop by and check them out. I used to post on the Chronicle's forum as "TexasTruth" but was banned by the "Chronicle Thought Police." It seems I had too many people hitting the "report abuse" button because they disagreed with me.

I post as a different reader now. See if you can figure out who it is.

Ides of March: "Vehicle"

I have been recently posting old music videos from my youth. A fellow blogger "Law and Order Teacher," whose blog I read daily and respect immensely, has been doing the same. He recently posted a video from The Ides of March preforming their song "Vehicle."

I have posted a similar clip of them preforming it during their heyday. I want to thank Law and Order Teacher for reminding me of the group.

Sit back and enjoy.

Joe Horn Case Goes to Grand Jury

The case of a John Horn, the Pasadena homeowner who shot and killed two burglars goes to a grand jury next month. The district attorney's office reports the case will be heard sometime in June. All evidence in this case was turned over to the District Attorney’s Office in December of 2007

Horn admitted shooting two men he saw breaking into his neighbor's house back in November. He claims he acted in self-defense when he saw the men on his lawn. But critics think Horn acted aggressively, based on comments he made to a 911 dispatcher.

There will be many interested parties in attendance if this case should ever go to trial.

I will keep appraised of this case and post further information as it develop.

Rin Tin Tin Lives On In Texas

I was watching The History Channel "Lost and Found" recently and they had on a story about Rin Tin Tin.

The bloodline continues to this day from the original Rin Tin Tin. People can adopt a direct descendant of the original Rin Tin Rin from the Rin Tin Tin Corporation in Crockett, Texas (outside of Houston).

It is amazing as to what one can find on television and the Internet.

Cheers: Norm Peterson "Normisms"

Here is a good clip of Norm Peterson as played by George Wendt on the television show "Cheers".

I loved his quick comebacks when he first walked into the bar. Whenever he walked in the bar, everyone would yell "NORM" and ask him a question. He always had GREAT comeback.

The video quality is not the best but it has good sound and brings back memories.

My quote today will be my favorite "Normism" for the show.

Cheers: Where Everybody Knows Your Name

I have gotten very nostalgic lately. You can tell from some of my posts about old television shows and music videos. I do not know why. It just maked me feel go and reminds me of happy times long ago.

In any case, I found a clip show from one of the best shows of the 1980s and early 1990s. It is Cheers. Every Thursday you could find my lovely bride and I in front of the television show at 8:00pm CST to watch Sam, Diana, Coach, Norm, Clip, Carla and all the rest.

It was like you were a part of the show. It was like you made a trip to the bar once a week. It really took one away from the trials and tribulations of everyday life. It is a jewel in TV history.

Now sit back and enjoy this clip show video of "Cheers". I will post more of them when I find any more.

Bush Disappointed Over Pre-War Intelligence

This past Tuesday, President George W. Bush expressed in unusually frank terms his disappointment over flawed pre-war intelligence and acknowledged his fears about leaving an unfinished war to a Democratic successor. You can read the article here.

I think this a man who is truly bothered by the outcome in Iraq. I have believed for sometime that many of the people who supported his decision to go into Iraq turned their back on him and openly attacked him. It is a fact that the pre-war intelligence WAS flawed, but many people (both Republicans and Democrats) along with many of world's leaders viewed the intelligence and supported him on the basis of that intelligence.

As I have stated many times, I do not agree with everything President Bush as done in office. His job is a tough one. I would not want it. Others do want the job (badly) and I cringe to think what will happen if Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Huessein Obama are elected. I am glad that he was our leader instead of Al Gore or John Kerry. With either of them in the White House, we might not have much of a country left today.

We will have destruction, terror and an Apocalypse the likes of which we have never seen.
God help us if either of these two gain the White House. God help us, because there be no one else who will.

The Humor of Ronald Reagan

Below is a montage of President Ronald Reagan at his comedic best. He could turn a dig at him into a positive spin and have people laughing. He never let a chance go by to win over someone by his humor. Never dirty, never profane; just good clean humor presented with the timing of an expert.

We were and are very fortunate to have had him lead our great country for eight years. His influence on our country remains to this day.

Reagan Handles A Heckler

Ronald Reagan was my favorite President. He make everyone feel secure and that we could be proud to be an American. He brought down the Iron Curtain, defeated Communism, and overall made the United States a force to be respected and reconded with.

Below is a clip of a campaign speech he made towards the end of the campaign on November 3, 1980 in San Diego.

Watch the clip and see Ronald Reagan in the form that made him stand up to the liberals and the Soviets. This clip made me proud I voted for him twice and that he lead our country for eight years. We sure could someone like him in the current election.

On a personal note, I wish I could say the same thing to some of my students. After all, if a President can do it, why cannot a teacher.

Imus: General George Patton Talks About Walter Reed

I have found another clip of George S. Patton on Imus' show. As before, this was before the "nappy-headed hoes" comments of over a year ago.

This time it is about the Walter Reed Medical Center debacle. Play particular attention to his Nancy Pelosi comment and the short statement on "Private Brittany Spears."

Barry Bonds Indicted on 15 Counts

The federal government filed a new indictment against Barry Bonds today, charging him with 14 counts of perjury for allegedly lying when he told a grand jury that he never used performance-enhancing drugs and one count of obstructing the government's investigation, ESPN reports.

The charges are essentially the same ones lodged against baseball's home-run king in November, before a judge ordered prosecutors to rewrite the original five-count indictment.

The feds need to go after him with all the force of their office. THIS GUY IS DIRTY!!

IF it had been me lying to a grand jury, I would already be in federal prison.

Hey, Barry, maybe you can share a cell with Wesley "Willie Mays Hays" Snipes. There is a good chance you and Roger Clemens may get back into baseball again: playing for the prison team!!

"No. I don't have to [use steroids]. I mean, I'm a good enough ballplayer as it is. I don't need to be any better. I can't get any better at this age." - Barry Bonds (MLB Drug Cheat)

Gordon Ramsey and Hell's Kitchen

Tonight, I was sitting in my favorite chair doing some blogging with my lovely bride working on her computer. 8:00pm came around and she wanted to watch "Hell's Kitchen."

I absolutely HATE reality shows. I think most of them are staged and the people who are on them should be out in the real world living life, not putting on a show on television for the masses

As I sat working on the computer, I listened to the show. The chef, Gordon Ramsey ,is a maniac. He is in their faces; he is demanding; he doesn't take any crap. He demands the best in a winner-take-all competition.

I WAS amazed at how he treats them. Most of them take it, but some do not.

This is how people who want to be a success should be treated. If they can get through Hell's Kitchen, they WILL be a success as a chef. He treats them the way he does because he wants to weed out the weak and push the ones who truly want to succeed.

If we could only get on our students like he does. Well, maybe not so hard, but IN THEIR FACES when they need it.

Think about it. Which teachers do you remember and think had a positive influence on your life? The HARD ASSED one or the EASY PUSHOVERS?

Texas Truth Visits Daisetta, Texas Sink Hole

Texas Truth and his lovely bride were in the Houston area on Sunday and decided to drive out to Daisetta to see if there was any action going on.

We arrived in Daisetta and it was like any small rural Texas town. A small school, a supermarket along with a gas station, a restaurant, and a church dotted the main street, FM 770.

The local sheriff, police, and volunteer fire department had the road blocked; detouring traffic around the area.

We got out of our vehicle and approached the road block. The people on duty were courteous and talked about what happened. They were very forthcoming with the information. It was much of the same information that was being presented on television and the media (both print and Internet).

They had a dry writer board hanging on the EasyUp tent stating the following:

1. Location of checkpoints around the sink hole with what I surmised were radio contact numbers (frequencies) or check point numbers.

2. Notice stating that ALL tours to the sink hole were halted. NO EXCEPTIONS!

3. Notice stating "NO PRESS"!

As I had stated earlier, the people manning the road block were nice enough, but it was obvious they were not going to allow ANYONE near the sink hole.

We took some photos as we drove around the town trying to get closer to the sink hole. We also stopped at the grocery store and talked to the locals about the sink hole. They were also very friendly.

I will post some of the photos and tell some of the experiences from the short day trip later.

A saying my lovely bride and I always say will be my quote for today. It will be posted below.

For now, enjoy a short video clip I found on the sink hole.

"Viva Las Vegas" Opening

WOW...It did not take me long. This is the Vegas that I loved.

The only problem with this clip is the Japanese subtitles. Oh well, the Japanese need to love Elvis too.

Elvis: "Viva Las Vegas"

More insomnia tonight. Only four weeks of school left (19 wake-ups). In any case, I found a clip of my favorite song from my favorite Elvis movie.

This is the Vegas I wish existed today. Not the family oriented, tourist trap of today.

I will try to find the opening of the movie showing the Fremont Street on Las Vegas that I remember.

This is the classic speech delivered by the President (played by Bill Pullman) in the film, "Independence Day."

It is not the best speech in a movie, but it is pretty good.

The Patton Doctrine on Iraq and Iran

This is a clip from the Don Imus show before he was "railroaded" out of his job. I am not a big Imus fan, but this clip is funny as Hell. In fact, Patton (the actor playing George S. Patton) does make some sense.

If we would do what he suggests, I sure we would have a great less problems in Iraq and around the world.

"A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week." - George S. Patton

The Last Scene with Emma Peel from The Avengers

I have found the last scene from The Avengers with Emma Peel (played by Diana Rigg) leaving with her long-lost and recently found husband.

Notice the way she told Tara King (played by Linda Thorson) the way Steed liked his tea stirred (anti-clockwise).

Also notice the appearance and demeanor of her husband as he is opens the car door for Mrs. Peel. One never sees his face but IMHO he is "exactly" like Steed.

I had forgotten this episode, but it reinforces my view that these two (Peel and Steed) were a couple (in the Biblical sense).

Observe the way Mrs. Peel looks up (while she and her husband are driving away) at the the window where Steed is standing. Her look says it all. I have had only one woman in my life given me that look and both of us knew what it meant.

This is a great clip and linked together the two characters (Mrs. Peel and Tara King) for the enjoyment of the fans. They do not do that in today's television.

Well, sit back and enjoy the clip.

"Now, take me to your leader. Or, lead me to your taker." - Emma Peel

Caveman: The Invention of Music

Again, I am sitting around on a Friday evening; the television on, my loyal dog at my feet, and I am surfing the net.

I came across this video on YouTube tonight. It is from the movie Caveman with Ringo Staff and Shelly Long.

I call it Caveman: The Invention of Music. It is very funny. (watch the part where they put the old man's hand near the fire)

Sit back and as always, enjoy and sing along. The words are very simple.

N.J. Vice Principal Makes Students Sit on Floor for Lunch as Discipline

An assistant principal at an elementary school in Camden, New Jersey is being accused inappropriately punishing fifteen fifth-grade students for making them eat their lunches with sitting on the gym floor.

Parents and activists called the incident an example of prejudice against Hispanics as the AP was black.

New Jersey state education officials say the punishment was inappropriate because it was demeaning and unsafe. The officials also found the punishment was not biased since it was common for non-Hispanic students as well.

The week long lunch detention stemmed from behavioral problems in their bilingual class.

This is totally ridiculous. The punishment was demeaning and unsafe. YEAH...RIGHT.

I see students sitting on the floor or ground all the time eating their lunches at my high school. So what is the big deal?

The big deal is a group of parents and activists FEEL it was wrong. I am sure it had nothing whatever to do with their being Hispanic. Since they were in a fifth-grade bilingual class, I wonder how many were criminal aliens?

I would be willing to bet the majority of them were illegally in the United States. I bet ICE would love to meet these students and their parents.

OPPS...it would not matter. By federal law, schools cannot check immigration status or require proof of citizenship or legal residence (in the country) to allow them to be in school.

That is another issue that raises my blood pressure. I will go off on that at a later time.

The Clash: Rock The Casbah

I was surfing again and found another video from my younger days (mid to late 20s). I love this video and being that it was filmed around Austin, Texas, that makes it for me.

Look for The Posse (Ice House), Serve Yourself Gas, Burger King, City Coliseum, and Winchell's Donuts. These are all places I frequented (at least once) while I was a student on the 40 Acres.

Check out the video below and sing along if you must.

“Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent” - Victor Hugo

Below is a discription about the video:

The Clash made low-budget music videos for several of their songs, and the one for "Rock the Casbah" may be their most memorable. Filmed in Austin, Texas, it depicts an Arab, played by Bernie Rhodes, and an Hasidic Jew, played by Mark "Frothler" Helfont, skanking together through the streets, often followed by an armadillo, interspersed with the band performing in front of an oil well. The humorous tone of the video fits the song, although it is easy to read the antics of the Arab and Jew as a desire for better relations between Israelis and Arabs.

The video features their first drummer Terry Chimes, because, at the time of its release, Headon was out of the band due to his growing drug addiction. Headon admitted that seeing the video with "someone else at my place, playing my song" was very painful for him and he spiraled into an even bigger depression and drug taking.

Quintero Lawyer Held In Contempt

In a published story in the Houston Chronicle, the lawyer defending Juan Quintero was held in contempt for withholding documents that were required to be supplies to the prosecution.

Below is the clip from the Chronicle:

A lawyer defending Juan Leonardo Quintero in his death-penalty trial was held in contempt of court this morning for withholding documents to which prosecutors said they were entitled under the rules of evidence.

State District Judge Joan Campbell held Danalynn Recer in contempt during an early-morning hearing outside the presence of the jury, according to court documents.

Campbell is expected to decide what punishment, if any, Recer should receive after the trial concludes.

The judge and Recer declined to comment, as did prosecutor Lyn McClellan.

David Lane, an attorney assisting Recer, said she forgot a doctor's report at her office this morning, delaying the court about 10 minutes while it was faxed over.

The documents involved the work of a doctor who testified today, bolstering assertions by a psychologist who told jurors Monday that Quintero was insane during the few minutes when he shot a Houston police officer in 2006.

Prosecutors considered the report important for them to use during cross-examination of the doctor, D.L. Creson.

The defense team is trying to show that Quintero is not guilty of capital murder by reason of insanity.

Antonio Puente said Monday he believes the 34-year-old defendant meets the legal definition of "insane."

Quintero has acknowledged in a videotaped statement to police that he shot Officer Rodney Johnson after being arrested in September 2006.

The trial is in its second week. Prosecutors plan to seek a death sentence if Quintero is convicted.

Quintero's attorneys have said he suffered brain damage in a childhood fall and that he shot Johnson because he perceived that the officer was a threat.

Johnson was shot seven times as he filled out paperwork in the front seat of his patrol car. Quintero was handcuffed and locked in the back seat.

Investigators have said Johnson searched Quintero, but overlooked the gun he had tucked in his waistband, after arresting him for not having a driver's license.

Tremors Attack Pack

My lovely bride bought me (us) the Tremors Attack pack DVD. It is the franchise collections of all four Tremors movies.

I know they are cheap science fiction, but we do love them. The four movies are:

1. Tremors

2. Tremors 2: Aftershocks

3. Tremors 3: Back to Perfection

4. Tremors 4: The Legend Begins

I hope they put the short lived series on DVD. They would be an welcome addition to my movie collection.

It is time to kick back and settle in for a Tremors marathon.
