Please check out these sites and see how this woman chooses to live her life. In addition, check out some of the comments left by visitors. WARNING: They are not for the faint of heart.

Garland Girl's Fake Contest Entry Thrown Out

The 6-year-old Garland, Texas girl whose winning entry in a Hannah Montana essay contest was found to be false will not collect the prize of seeing the singer in concert after all.

Mary Drolet, chief executive officer of Club Libby Lu, the company aimed at "tween" girls that sponsored the contest, announced Saturday that the prize was being withdrawn. The announcement came a day after a Club Libby Lu spokesperson initially said the company would honor the prize even though the girl's father was not a soldier and did not die in Iraq, as the essay said.

I am glad to see this. The loser mother and her daughter do not need to win any prizes. I feel sorry for the young girl; however, her mother is a piece of work.

Earlier today, I found her MySpace page and it was filled with gang-banger, bling-bling trash that showed her true nature.

Media has reported that members of her family had been involved in criminal activity and has criminal records. I would be willing to bet this woman is following in the footsteps of her relatives.

The girl's mother, Priscilla Ceballos, refused to comment at the store Friday or when reached at home Saturday. A woman who answered the phone at Ms. Ceballos' home referred calls to an attorney but did not provide contact information.

A few questions come to mind:

1. Was there ever a father of the daughter in the picture?

2. Was the father actually in the military?

3. Who is Jonathon Menjivar, the man listed at the father who dies in Iraq?

4. Does this woman have a criminal history?

5. Are she, her daughter, and the relatives who live with her legally in the country?

6. Will she face criminal charges as a result of this attempt fraud?

I will keep abreast of this story and post further finds as soon as they become available.

Mother Lies About Iraq Death to Win Hannah Montana Tickets

A 6-year-old Garland girl won a Hannah Montana makeover and concert tickets Friday with an essay that started, "My daddy died this year in Iraq ..."

But the girl's mother, Priscilla Ceballos, now admits that the essay, along with information she supplied about the supposedly deceased soldier, is false, said Robyn Caulfield, a spokeswoman for Club Libby Lu.

This is just symptomatic of the attitude of today's generation and their view that anything is acceptable to achieve a result.

Some have stated in various forums that this woman made a mistake and she perhaps did not understand the rules of the contest. Others state that this incident is not typical of this generation. I responded to these comments as follows:

Every generation has good apples and bad apples. However, there is a distinct attitude among this current generation that anything goes and that the end justifies the means. I think it may have to do with the fact that the current generation has never had to face hardship like its predecesore.

My generation had Vietnam and the Cold War, our parents faced WW2, our grandparents dealt with WW1 and the Depression.

This current generation has never had to do without and face TRUE hardship. I, and I am willing to bet many others, feel the same way. The sad fact is that this generation will not realize its current situation, behavior, and attitude will be a detriment to themselves and society.

I think they will eventually figure it out. After all, Winston Churchill said, "If you are not a liberal at 20, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at 40, you have no brain."

My message to this generation..."Grow up, look around, and fly right. The world does not center around you."

This woman is a piece of trash. She deserves all the condemnation and criticism that she receives.

I will keep up on this story. It seems that there must be criminal charges in this woman's future.

More on Houston's Status as a Sanctuary City

As I have been reading the comments and posting on the Houston Chronicle's forum concerning Houston as a sanctuary city, I have come across some very liberal views by some wacko posters.

They are posted below. I have also listed a link to their information page on the Chronicle's web site. Click on the poster's name to link to their page.

PS: Their comments are posted EXACTLY as they were on the Houston Chronicle's website.

This does not mean an endless free ride, just a helping hand to get past a crisis. And O'Reilly? He is nothing but "info-tainment." He needs to retire. He is old hat, destructive and judgmental, in addition to being a phone pervert.

jackdempsey wrote: O'R sells ratings and viewers...Have you ever known Billy to get any fact right?1st off, Pasadena has its own PD with chief (who, by the way is a star and a great chief); 2nd, obviously, Brain Billy O, it logically would make sense that illegals would be in the cities by the border. Does the clod think the Federal Funding should go to Omaha? What a ditz. His show is so filled with spite and inaccuracies. and false half truths, that anyone who would listen to his trash is crazy. Long live the PD chief of both Houston and Pasadena

I have spent the last several minutes reading this article and ALL the comments that have sprouted forth from it...and all I can say is that I am so disappointed so many of my fellow Houstonians/Texans.

First it was all the kerapp about the US being a "Christian nation" which is patently false, now we're denying that slavery had anything to do with the civil war? Please. As I said twice now, there were multiple issues that started the war, but slavery (or the attempt to abolish it) was in the center of the conflict.

As I have stated in previous posts, there are some crazy people out there. I wonder what color the sky is in their world?

Is Houston Viewed as a Sanctuary City?

In today's issue of the Houston Chronicle, an article is posted about Houston being viewed as a sanctuary city. Since the Joe Horn incident in Pasadena, Texas, much has been written concerning illegal immigration and its cause of this situation.

Bill O'Reilly had a piece on Joe Horn and in it, alluded to the fact that Houston is a sanctuary city. Much is bring posted on his comment and the debate on Houston as a sanctuary city.

I have been reading and posting on that forum. It is amazing some of the left wing views that are posted. Everyone knows that the Houston Chronicle is blatantly left wing.

Click on over and read some of the posts. I will be posting some of the better ones on this forum.

By the way, I post as "TexasTruthSayer" on that forum.

Song Lyrics: Ding Dong the Trash is Dead. (An Ode to Joe Horn)

Here a little ditty I adapted and put to the music of the song "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" from "The Wizard of Oz." Who is speaking the lines precedes the lines. Enjoy.

DING DONG THE TRASH IS DEAD

(lyrics adapted by Texas Truth)

Citizens of Pasadena, Texas:
Ding Dong! The Trash is dead. Which old Trash? The Criminal Trash!
Ding Dong! The Criminal Trash is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Criminal Trash is dead. They’ve gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Criminal Trash is dead!

Mayor of Pasadena:
As Mayor of the Pasadena City, In the County of the Land of Texas, I welcome you most regally.

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
But we've got to verify it legally, to see

Mayor of Pasadena:
To see?

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
If they

Mayor of Pasadena:
If they?

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
Are morally, ethic'lly

Legal Pasadena Resident Number 1:
Spiritually, physically

Legal Pasadena Resident Number 2:
Positively, absolutely

Citizens of Pasadena, Texas:
Undeniably and reliably Dead

Harris County, Texas Coroner:
As Coroner I must aver, I thoroughly examined them.
And they’re not only merely dead, They’re really most sincerely dead.

Mayor of Pasadena
Then this is a day of Independence For all Pasadenaians and their descendants

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
If any.

Mayor of Pasadena:
Yes, let the joyous news be spread The Criminal Trash at last is dead!

Joe Horn Supporters Shut Down Quanell X

More information has come forth on Joe Horn and the shooting of two criminal aliens hell bent on committing crimes against good hard working honest citizens of the United States.

Quanell X showed up with his band of merry men to protest in Pasadena this past Sunday and Texas Truth has found uncut raw video of the protest.

It has also come to light that Joe Horn allegedly shot the two criminals in the back.

It does not matter to me that Mr. Horn shot and killed these two men (and I use the word "men" with a very liberal tone). They were criminals and deserved what they got. If they had lived a more honest life and been a productive member of OUR society, they would be alive today.

The fact is that these two pieces of trash were not productive members of our society. They were criminals. They were criminals for breaking into the house. They were criminals for robbing the house. They were criminals for being in our country illegally. I could not care less that they are dead. Two more pieces of trash are off the streets.

TWO CRIMINALS DOWN...MANY MORE TO GO!!!

More Information on the Joe Horn Saga

KHOU-TV Channel 11 in Houston has a story about Miguel DeJesus, one of the two criminals caught breaking into a home and were shot and killed by Joe Horn.

The article is highlights below in italics and my comments and thoughts are posted below.

The fiancé of one of the two burglary suspects shot and killed by a Pasadena homeowner denies he was part of an organized gang.

She’s responding to a report that the suspects were being investigated by federal authorities.

The denial comes one day after an exclusive 11 News report revealed new details about the Pasadena burglars gunned down by an angry neighbor.

Stephanie Storey talked about what law enforcement sources have said about Miguel Dejesus.

According to those sources, he is Colombian and had applied for a Texas driver's license using Puerto Rican documents.

Storey says, to the best of her knowledge, the Pasadena break-in was her fiancé’s first. “To insinuate that he was in some kind of criminal activity, as far as weapons, I know that’s false.”

Storey insists Dejesus could not be part of the organized syndicate of Colombian burglars and weapons dealers that a special task force is looking into here in the Houston area.

But 11 News discovered a Texas Department of Public Safety memo about the investigation into Colombians using fake documents to obtain Texas licenses.

Dejesus and the other man shot by Joe Horn, Diego Ortiz, were both Colombian.
“This doesn’t change the fact of who he was, what kind of man he was,” said Storey. “This doesn’t change anything for me.”

“We condemn the burglars but we believe that crime can never solve crime,” said local activist Quanell X.

Quanell X says the actions of Joe Horn outweighed whatever crimes Dejesus and Ortiz could have ever committed.

Show Proposes Marriage of US Citizen to Immigrant

I found an article on Reuters that a company is proposing a reality show that will hook up an immigrant and a United States citizen to get married. It will be called "Who Wants to Marry a U.S. Citizen."

I am going to keep abreast of this proposed show. If this is indeed true, perhaps someone should look into the legality of this. Below is the article from Reuters.

A Los Angeles company is touting a new reality game show called "Who Wants to Marry a U.S. Citizen" that aims to create televised matrimony between legal citizens and immigrants who have temporary visas.

The show's backers at Morusa Media hope to make a sort of love match between reality TV and a national obsession with immigration. But the producers make no promise that a marriage will occur or lead to U.S. citizenship.

Show creator Adrian Martinez said that Morusa Media has not yet found a network to produce or air the show, but he is currently in talks with one cable TV network and already has signed up contestants for six episodes.

"It's this generation's 'Dating Game,' but with a twist -- it aims to show love knows no borders," Martinez told Reuters.

As in the "Dating Game," which ran on network TV for more than two decades starting in the 1960s, a single U.S. citizen gets to ask contestants various questions. Toward the end of the show, he or she decides which one to select as a potential mate.

So far, most of the contestants are Hispanic immigrants, although at least one is from the Philippines, Martinez said.

In a statement, Morusa said that while it does not guarantee marriage or legal status, it will pay for a wedding party and honeymoon should a marriage result.

"We're just out to play matchmaker," said the show's host, Angelo Gonzales. "There are thousands of U.S. citizens seeking a spouse, and just as many immigrants seeking the same. So we want to make it a win-win situation for all involved."
