Jimmy Carter: My Instincts Were Right!!! HE IS A JERK

After I woke up this morning, I found an article on Newmax.com about the Ronald Kessler book "In the President's Secret Service: Behind the Scenes With Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect." Click here to read the article.

It describes what a jerk President Jimmy Carter was/is. I had the opportunity to meet Carter 20 years ago and of course, I went. He was doing a book signing in Houston and My Lovely Bride and I went to get books signed. After all, he was a President of the United States and autographed copies of his books would be nice additions to our library. In addition, autographed books by a President would command a nice price if we ever decided to sell them.

I had always had my doubts about Carter. My impression was, as still is, that he was a phony. When he did the Playboy interview in 1976, he made a statement of which I will use a my quote for this post. Said quote just reinforces the fact that liberal democrats are a bunch of crazy, self absorbed lunatics.

I am going to get Kessler's book today. It will make a nice read before I go back to school.

"Because I'm just human and I'm tempted and Christ set some almost impossible standards for us. The Bible says, "Thou shalt not commit adultery." Christ said, I tell you that anyone who looks on a woman with lust has in his heart already committed adultery. I've looked on a lot of women with lust. I've committed adultery in my heart many times.... This is something that God recognizes, that I will do and have done, and God forgives me for it. But that doesn't mean that I condemn someone who not only looks on a woman with lust but who leaves his wife and shacks up with somebody out of wedlock. Christ says, don't consider yourself better than someone else because one guy screws a whole bunch of women while the other guy is loyal to his wife. The guy who's loyal to his wife ought not to be condescending or proud because of the relative degree of sinfulness." - Jimmy Carter.

Obama = The Carter Syndrome

I found this and had to post it. It is from the Thursday, May 22, 2008 New York Post website.

Mike Ramirez is a cartoonist for Investor's Business Daily. His cartoons appear on NYPOST.COM Monday through Friday.

I will post more as I find ones I like.

"Which makes the audacity of the Obama campaign more than amusing—and amazing—to watch. Consciously or not, Obama has selected the philosophical template of the Carter administration, from defunding the military, fighting the “special interests” down to imposing the windfall profits tax on the rich. Well, as Justice Clarence Thomas might say: whoop-dee-damn-do! This is precisely the philosophy of Jimmy Carter, although Carter had the good sense not to campaign as the pacifist he really is in 1976, waiting until the moment his hand came off the bible for that." - from the "American Spectator"

Jimmy Carter Continues to Meddle

Former US president Jimmy Carter and Khaled Meshaal, exiled chief of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, held more talks in Syria on Saturday focused on a possible truce between Israel and Gaza militants and the release of an Israeli soldier, Hamas said.

The two men held a lengthy meeting on Friday, strongly opposed by Washington and Israel who view Hamas as a terrorist organisation despite its victory in Palestinian elections in 2006.

Carter should mind his own business. He did not do anything when he was President and now things he is the savior and great mediator for the world.

Jimmy Carter: Not Peanuts, Just "NUTS"

Former President Jimmy Carter today warmly embraced a top Hamas terrorist and laid a wreath on the gravesite of former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, whom Carter called a "peace fighter" and a "dear friend," according to Palestinian officials speaking to WND.

Visiting the West Bank city of Ramallah, Carter attended a reception with Nasser Shaer, a senior Hamas leader. The reception was closed to the media, but according to participants and the Hamas leader, Carter hugged Shaer and kissed him on each cheek, the customary greeting for good friends. Many U.S. diplomats refrain from kissing Palestinian officials.

Obama's Patriotism in Question (As It Should Be)

Questions have arisen in many people's mind about the patriotism of Obama Barack. This issue might come into play in the general election.

Obama has made it clear with his refusal to wear an American flag lapel pin along with a photo of him not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem that he does not view these acts as an indication of his lack of patriotism.

If this was a one-time thing, many could and would dismiss it. However, add this to the fact that his wife stated recently that she is really proud of her country for the first time in her adult life and question should come forward.

I, for one question his and her patriotism. I think others should also be questioning it. If this man will not show the proper respect for the flag then how can he be expected to be the Commander-in-Chief of the United States?

Even Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton show proper respect for the flag and the National Anthem by placing their hand over their heart.

I have a big problem with this. I was raised to this day to show proper respect for the flag or our country and the people who picked up a weapon and defended our country.

I hope more people view this same way I do. I hope more bloggers notice this and post on it. I hope the people, bloggers, and the media take him and his wife to task on this.

If he is elected President, he will be a terrible example of the USA and the leader of our country. I shutter to think what will happen if he gains the White House.

Carter Blasts Bush

Jimmy Carter blasted President George W. Bush and his administration as the “worst in history.”

Carter has a great deal of room to talk. He was a one term President who had very little success during his Presidency.

He is just a bitter old man who has nothing better to do than try to keep his name in the public eye.

In fact, the comments came why he was promoting this new audiobook series “Sunday Morning in Plains,” which is a collection of weekly Bible lessons from his hometown of Plains Georgia.

This is from a man who has professed his Christian faith and values for many years.

I guess those values don’t include embracing your fellow man, unless of course than fellow man has exactly the same values as you.

He accomplished very little in his Presidency. As a result, he should keep his negative comments to himself. After all, he couldn’t even deal with the Iran Hostage Crisis.

Remember, his rescue efforts failed and left a good number of American dead. Saying the Bush administration is the worst in history is the pot calling the kettle black.
