Rachel Alexandra Win The Preakness Stakes

Rachel Alexandra won The Preakness Stakes; the first fillie to win the race since 1924.

My Lovely Bride did it again. I lost another dollar. One more race of the Triple Crown to go.

The Preakness Stakes

The second race of The Triple Crown is tomorrow: The 134th Preakness Stakes. My Love Bride took the "odds" this time. Therefore I get the "evens."

Kentucky Derby winner Mind That Bird is an even number (2) but he is not the favorite. The filly Rachel Alexandra (13) is the favorite.

An interesting twist; Calvin Borel, who rode Mind That Bird to the Derby win will not be jockeying him today. Borel will ride Rachel Alexandra.

I will be back tomorrow with the results.
