Today is Valentine's Day. My Lovely Bride and I are celebrating Valentine's Day a day late this year. We are going to Houston, on Sunday (tomorrow) to see the Houston Aeros play hockey and eat pizza at Steel City Pizzeria. This is the type of Valentine's Day WE like. Enjoying each other’s company in an activity we both enjoy. HAPPY V-DAY TO EVERYONE (even if it is a day late). My Lovely Bride used to show "The Last Starfighter" movie to her junior school classes years ago before administrators begin interfering in classroom lessons.
She would use this movie to show the students about doing the right thing, becoming good at something, and having to courage to take a stand when one needs to.
It is not a great movie, but it is a good movie. I especially like Robert Preston as "Centauri." He was truly a great actor and always played any part he took to the hilt.
Watch it if you ever get a chance. It is a good movie to escape for a few hours from the pressures of everyday life.
