Report #4 From the Road.

My lovely bride and I are sightseeing. Nothing really spectatular but it is nice to see another part of the country. We rested and just relaxed.

Report #3 From The Road

Rhode Island is beautiful. At night, it is nice to be able to see the stars in the sky. We are even able to see most of the major constalations. My lovely bride ate a lobster at a locals hangout. She had a one and a half pound lobster with french fries and cole slaw for $15.99. I ate a hamburger. Well, I still ate what I like no matter where I am.

Report #2 From the Road

It is now Saturday and we are in Rhode Island. We looked for Quahog, Rhode Island as we were going to stop in and see the Griffin family and their neighbors. We had no luck.

Okay...now back to reality. We really are in Rhode Island and the temperature is in the low 70s. It feels so great. Unleaded regular gas is $4.23 a gallon and we are definitely in Obama country. I am keeping my mouth shut as some of these people are my friends. Oh well, they are still great people even if their political views are so far to the left. God does take care of children and fools.

Report #1 From the Road

My lovely bride and I made it to the right (east) coast in one piece. Theo Drive from Texas was a chore, but it allowed us to stop and see a friend in Virginia. She has a cabin near a national forest in the western part of Virginia. She has no high speed Internet access and must still use a dial up connection. We cannot even get any cell phone bars. I had forgotten how great it is to be out of touch with all the "crap" in our lives. WE LOVE IT!!!!

Regular unleaded gas was $3.89 a gallon in Virginia. Not bad, but we know it will get higher.

Texas Truth Has Left the State

My lovely bride and I have left the safe confines of the Lone Star State and have taken a well-earned vacation. We will be gone for a while, however I will post as often as I can.

Take care and I will give everyone the details from the road as they develop.

I Dream of Jeannie

"I Dream of Jeannie" was another television show from my youth. It was on from 1965-1970. Barbara Eden was another one of the woman who got many a young boy through puberty. She was gorgeous. After all, what red-blooded American boy of the 1960s and man of the 21st century would not like a harem girl at their beck and call, crossing her arms, blinking and calling you master.

Enjoy!!!

The Many Faces of Catwoman

I found this on YouTube. It highlights the actresses who have played Catwoman. They have a poll going on and Eartha Kitt seems to be leading. I agree, Eartha Kitt was good, but as I have posted earlier, Julie Newmar is the best. She is the classic Catwoman. No one can compare.

My picks are
1. Julie Newmar
2. Michelle Pfieffer
3. Eartha Kitt
4. Lee Meriwether

Please let me know what you think.

Julie Newmar as Catwoman

There was never a better Catwoman than Julie Newmar. Lee Merrywether, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Peiffer and Halle Berry were poor substitutes. They could not carry Julie's kitty litter.

She was not only beautiful, she was an entrepreneur. She invented and marketed her own brand of pantyhose, "Nudemar," in the 1970s & 1980s. She holds three U.S. patents: 3,914,799 and 4,003,094 for "Pantyhose with shaping band for Cheeky derriere relief" and 3,935,865 for "Brassiere."

What a woman...beauty, legs that go all the way up to her neck, and a brain to match.

"Tell me I'm beautiful, it's nothing. Tell me I'm intellectual, I know it. Tell me I'm funny and it's the greatest compliment in the world anyone could give me." — Julie Newmar

Obama Exposed: Number 2

Here is the second post in my series aimed at bringing out the truth about Barack HUSSEIN Obama. It has been up on YouTube for about a year.

It does bring up interesting points. We must continue to get the world out on BHO. The future of our county depends on it.

Ann-Margret: "Rival" from Viva Las Vegas

Here is another hottie (today's vernacular) from our youth. I knew there was definitely something there (even at 10 years old). She was 25 years old during the filming of this movie.

Ann-Margret could sing and dance, as well as being knock-out gorgeous. No wonder Elvis has a life-long love for her. She would have been so much better for him than Priscilla.

PS: She did this performance on the first take.

Obama Exposed: Number 1

There are many out there that are working very hard to get out the word on Barack HUSSEIN Obama. I found this video on YouTube. I attempted to post it previously on this forum and it was taken down after one day on YouTube.

If you like, please get the code and paste it on your blog and/or website. We must get the word out.

Elvis: Take Me To The Fair

This is one of my favorite Elvis movie songs. It is from "It Happened at the World's Fair." The little girl he is singing to is Vicki Tiu. In later life, she became the First Lady of Hawaii. Her husband is Ben Cayetano. He was the Governor of Hawaii from 1997-2004.

Elvis: Relax

This is clip of Elvis preforming "Relax" from "It Happened at the World's Fair."

The girl is
Yvonne Craig who was also know as Batgirl. She was 26 when this movie came out. Hard to believe she is 71 now! WOW, I am getting old.

John Wayne and Dean Martin

Below is a clip of Dean Martin and John Wayne talking about what The Duke wants for his daughter. The things he says are as true today as they were back then. I wish more people would hold these beliefs and views today. It is a shame that we do not have more people that fell this way now.

Aretha Franklin: Think

This clip is Aretha Franklin preforming her classic song "Think" in the movie "The Blues Brothers." This woman can sing. These whimpy tramp monsters of today think they can sing...well to that I say HELL NO, YOU CAN'T.

Al Pacino's "Inches is Life" Speech

Below is a clip of Al Pacino's "Inches is Life" speech from "Any Given Sunday." It is pretty good, I must say. I wish I could adapt it for my students. It does give one a sense of the things one can achieve if one is willing to work at the little things.

"We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time." Tony D'Amato as played by Al Pacino in "Any Given Sunday"

Blues Brothers: Jailhouse Rock

Here is another version of Jailhouse Rock. It was the ending and credits for the movie "The Blues Brothers." I usually do not like remakes but this one does do the original justice. I love all the famous actors, actresses, performers who were in this movie. A classic movie and a remake of a classic song.

Again...enjoy.

Al Gore's Energy Consumption

I just found this on the Tennessee Center for Policy Research website. It is an very interesting story about Al Gore (aka Algore, aka Algorical) and his energy consumption.

This makes me belief he is the biggest hypocrite in the world.

"The true hypocrite is the one who ceases to perceive his deception, the one who lies with sincerity" - Andre Gide

In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, the former Vice President’s home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research.

“A man’s commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home,” said Drew Johnson, President of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. “Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.”

In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.

In February 2007, An Inconvenient Truth, a film based on a climate change speech developed by Gore, won an Academy Award for best documentary feature. The next day, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research uncovered that Gore’s Nashville home guzzled 20 times more electricity than the average American household.

After the Tennessee Center for Policy Research exposed Gore’s massive home energy use, the former Vice President scurried to make his home more energy-efficient. Despite adding solar panels, installing a geothermal system, replacing existing light bulbs with more efficient models, and overhauling the home’s windows and ductwork, Gore now consumes more electricity than before the “green” overhaul.

Since taking steps to make his home more environmentally-friendly last June, Gore devours an average of 17,768 kWh per month –1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations – at a cost of $16,533. By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration.

In the wake of becoming the most
well-known global warming alarmist, Gore won an Oscar, a Grammy and the Nobel Peace Prize. In addition, Gore saw his personal wealth increase by an estimated $100 million thanks largely to speaking fees and investments related to global warming hysteria.

“Actions speak louder than words, and Gore’s actions prove that he views climate change not as a serious problem, but as a money-making opportunity,” Johnson said. “Gore is exploiting the public’s concern about the environment to line his pockets and enhance his profile.”

The Tennessee Center for Policy Research, a Nashville-based free market think tank and watchdog organization, obtained information about Gore’s home
energy use through a public records request to the Nashville Electric Service.

Evis: Jailhouse Rock (color version)

Another great song by Elvis. I've read that he did the choreography for this himself. Even with a simple song like Hound Dog, in the studio he had the band do 37+ takes, in the studio, before he was happy with it. He had absolute control in the studio. His piano & guitar styles were simple but were right on the money. Elvis wasn't just a great voice and an incredible performer, he was a first class musician.

Sit back and enjoy!!!

More on Obama Being a Muslim

I have been searching the web this morning for anything concerning my previous post about Barack HUSSEIN Obama's brother's statement that BHO is a Muslim.

Below is a video I found on YouTube.

"Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence." - John Adams

Obama's Brother States Obama Is A Muslim

An article was published in the "Israel Insider" (Israel's daily news magazine), that Barack HUSSEIN Obama's half brother states Malik confirms his half-brother Barack grew up a Muslim.

Read the article by clicking
here.

Perhaps Malik did not get the memo from his brother about this issue. Nevertheless, it does raise questions of who is telling the truth.

I could not care less what religion Obama is. I will not vote for him anyway. What does bother me is the fact that Obama feels the need to lie about this. If he was a Muslim and converted to Christianity, why not admit it? If he is or was considered Muslim because of his father's beliefs does not matter to me. I respect a man who tells the truth and is willing to come forward with said truth when confronted.

That is one of the many reasons I will not vote for Obama and will do everything in my power to help defeat him. I just do not think he is truthful.

One addition thing that this article bring to mind is why would his brother lie? He has no motive and nothing to gain from telling a lie.

That single reason raises suspicion in my mind. I would hope it would also raise suspicion in your mind as well.

"When one's character begins to fall under suspicion and disfavor, how swift, then, is the work of disintegration and destruction" - Mark Twain

Elvis: A Little More Understanding

Ever since the television show "Las Vegas" came out, I have been intrigued by this song. I did some research to find out more about it. I read somewhere on the Internet that song wasn't so popular when it was released.

"A Little Less Conversation" is the song originally recorded by Elvis for the movie "Live a Little, Love a Little" in 1968. It was released by RCA Victor as a single, but the release was only a moderate success, indicative of the diminishing returns Elvis' movie recordings were exhibiting at the time.

This is the original version and I cannot find any videos of Elvis preforming it. It is a bit different than the "Las Vegas" them song but it was more reminiscent of Elvis.

Don't get me wrong, the theme song is pretty good, but the original is pure Elvis.

Joe Horn Case Goes to the Grand Jury

Joe Horn, the Pasadena man who shot and killed two burglars after they emerged from his neighbor's home last year, has his case presented to the Grand Jury today. It could be the end of the week before we know anything.

To refresh your memory, Mr. Horn shot and killed two burglars after they had robbed his neighbor and were cutting across his lawn to escape.

I have posted my thoughts on his actions here:

US Accused of Holding Terror Suspects on Prison Ships

The Guardian is reporting that the United States is holding terror suspects on prison ships. Read the article here.

Mitt Romney Speech at the 2008 Texas Republican Convention

Below is a video clip of the speech give by Mitt Romney at the 2008 Texas Republican Convention banquet. The banquet was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

A person very dear to my heart had a ticket to the banquet and was kind enough to video it for me (and you). The video is not the best quality however it is very nice to have it. I was unable to attend and it will give me (and others) a chance to experience speech second hand.

I did want to take this time to thank the person who videoed it for me. This person is the kindest, most caring person I have ever known and it was a treat for them to attend. I was very happy for them.

I know you will join me in thanking them from the bottom of our hearts.

2008 Texas Republican Convention-Day 2

Day 2 (Friday, June 13) at the 2008 Texas Republican Convention has come and gone. After getting a late start in the morning (afternoon) , I was able to get some views of what was going happening on the convention floor.

The political maneuvering occurring on the convention floor did not interest me very much, so I confined myself to the action going on elsewhere (i.e. bloggers row, mixers, small group settings, and the overall general view of the convention).

The Ron Paul supporters were very vocal but were amazingly polite and did not cause the ruckus I thought they would.

The speeches by the party bigwigs were typical; saying what was required to appease the crowd. It was exciting to see and hear them in person.

I will post more later, as it is getting late as I am tried.

"Eli's Coming" by Three Dog Night

This is a video clip of Three Dog Night's great 1969 hit "Eli's Coming." This is a 39-year-old tune that could have been produced and considered mainstream even today.

Sing along if you must.

"Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl" - Three Dog Night

Lyrics:
Eli's comin'
Eli's comin' (Eli's a-comin')
Well you better hide your heart, your loving heart
Eli's a-comin' and the cards say... a broken heart
Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl
Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl
Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide
Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide
Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide
Girl, Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl (hide it)
You better, better hide your heart
Eli's comin', better walk
Walk but you'll never get away
No, you'll never get away from
the burnin' a-heartache
I walked to Apollo by the bay
Everywhere I go though, Eli's a-comin'
(she walked but she never got
away)
Eli's a-comin' (she walked but she never got away)
Eli's a-comin' and he's comin'
to git ya (she walked but...
she walked
but...)
Get down on your knees (she walked
but she never got away)
Eli's comin' (hide it, hide it, hide it)
Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide
Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide
Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide
Girl, Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl (hide it)
You better, better hide your heart
Eli's comin', better walk
Walk but you'll never get away
No, you'll never get away from

2008 Texas Republican Convention-Day 1

I just got home from day one of the 2008 Texas Republican Convention. As I stated in a previous post, I was able to obtain a "guest" credential for the convention from someone very dear to my heart. I have free access to the convention center, hotel, convention floor and all other meetings.

I arrived today and when directly to pick up the credential. There was not a problem. My fiend had already picked it up and as a result, I was ready to go.

As I walked from the Hilton Hotel to the George R. Brown Convention Center, I passed the Protest Area. It was a fenced off area and two or three people where holding signs up. I did not bother to read what they said, but I am sure they (and others) will be out there tomorrow. Convention organizers told me that all the big stuff would happen tomorrow (Friday).

As I got into the convention center, not much was going on. On the convention floor, they were discussing (rather heatedly) the rules of the convention. It seems some for Ron Paul’s supporters were questioning how delegates and alternates would be seated. I am not sure what the deal was as there was a large amount of shouting, booing and people making points of order. I guess they must get this out of the way before the action starts tomorrow.

After that, I went over to the trade show and looked at the booths. Most of the candidates for state and national office had booths set up, passing out their literature and handing out campaign stickers. I do miss the days of free campaign buttons. Stickers just do not do the job.

Governor Rick "Zoolander" Perry was set up in a booth (actually a quite large area) with free popcorn, stickers, literature and a video of what he ahs done. He was also signing his book about the Boy Scouts and was sitting at a table autographing it and posing for photos. His "protects" was close by and I assume they were plain clothes Texas Rangers. I pick them out of all the people around the booth, as they were the largest and bulkiest men in the area. These people were not anyone I would want to mess with.

I circulated the room a couple of times, picking up whatever free stuff I could get my hands on. It is nice to see that some people are handing out good, free stuff. Kay Bailey Hutchinson was giving out t-shirts and nice grocery bags. Local energy companies, TXU and Oncor were giving out the new compact fluorescent bulbs. I snagged three and will go back for more tomorrow. I might as well load up as long as they are free.

I also picked up coffee mugs, shirts, pens, pencils, and fingernail file boards while signing every mailing list I could.

People were standing around handing out flyers of every kind and I accepted them with the intension of reading them later.

When I got a few minutes, I sat down and read them. They were mostly the same old political stuff; nothing much that I was interested in. What I did take notice of where the flyers inviting those attending the convention to receptions and mixers.

After more wondering around, sitting and listening to the rhetoric on the convention floor and generally absorbing all that I could, the time came for the first reception.

I first attended a reception by the Log Cabin Republicans. This group is the national gay and lesbian Republican grassroots organization. I knew that going in and really did not care. They had free pizza, beer and soft drinks. I was there about 10 minutes after they opened. I ate a bit, drank a few Diet Cokes and engaged in conversation with a few people sitting around the couch. The room was a small suite and I estimate about thirty people standing around. After about 45 minutes, I got up to leave, as I had another reception I wanted to attend. As I walked out the door, there was a line down the hall. I would estimate about 100-150 people waiting to get into the suite.

I guess the delegates had a hankering for the free pizza, but I wonder if they knew who and what the Log Cabin Republicans were about.

Elizabeth Ames Jones hosted the next reception. She is running for Texas Railroad Commissioner. The suite was a bit smaller than the Log Cabin Republicans, but her suite had a different draw. It was a desert mixer. Cake, brownies, and various other pastries filled the room. I got a few brownies and found a seat on a couch. The room started to fill up and I was glad I was staying ahead of the crowds.

I engaged in more conversation with some other people. It sure was nice to talk to people who are as up on current events as I am and did not mind having intelligent conversation with others. We did not agree on everything we discussed, but the banter was polite, humorous, and enlightening.

After about another thirty minutes, I left and headed down to the Ron paul Ice Cream Social. I had heard that he was going to dissolve his campaign for President and form a new group to remain politically active.

I and the companions I had picked up along the way (at the various receptions) waited outside the ballroom for about thirty minutes. The lobby was filling up fast and I knew this reception would be a hot ticket. At precisely 9:00 pm, the doors opened and people rushed for seats. I was lucky enough to snag a table and chairs for my two companions and myself. One person watched the table as two of us went for ice cream.

One thing I can say for Ron Paul supporters is that they are very passionate about their support for Dr. Paul. They were chanting their support for Dr. Paul in the lobby before the event and inside the ballroom, they were holding up signs showing their support for his Presidential bid. At 9:30, Dr. Paul had not made an appearance and facing 30-minute drive back to where I was spending the night, I decided it was getting late and left.

I found out later that he indeed had suspended his campaign and even had a video of the event posted on YouTube. I will have to look for it later.

Friday is supposed to be the big day. On the agenda is newt Gingrich, Kay Bailey Hutchinson (Texas Senator), Mike Huckabee, and Jerry Patterson (Texas Land Commissioner).

Various State Senators and State and National Representatives will host receptions and mixers along with evening events with Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, Senator John Cornyn, and Lt. Governor David Dewhurst. In addition, the Republican party of Texas Convention Banquet will be at 7:00pm with special guest Mitt Romney.

I do not have a ticket to the banquet but someone very close to my heart does. I will give you their report tomorrow.

I had a great day at the convention. I know it will be better tomorrow. I will try to get involved in what is going on in the political arena as much as my guest badge will allow me.

2008 Texas Republican Convention

As most of you who are from Texas know, the 2008 Texas Republican Convention starts today at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. Since I was going to be in the area this week and weekend, I managed to get a pass. Do not inquire how, but I was able to snag a guest badge as I know someone who is a delegate (alternate).

Rest assure I am going to be there for every session and see how much I can absorb. I have been told there is a place for bloggers to set up and I will see if I can hook up with any of them. I must be careful as not to to get identified or recognized as I must protect my anonymity to the nth degree.

I will keep all of you posted as to my involvement in the event.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama's Experience

I was wondering about the amount of experience Barack HUSSEIN Obama has in the Senate. I did some research and found out the following:

From the time Barack HUSSEIN Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced that he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

143 days. That is not even a full year in school for a Texas high school student. In Texas, they are required to attend school 186 days to get credit for the year.

In contrast, John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama's Birth Certificate

Most of the blogs and news sites that I visited yesterday and today are buzzing over the reluctance of the Obama Campaign to release a copy of Barack HUSSEIN Obama's birth certificate.

The St. Petersburg Times asked for the birth certificate and reported the result of their inquiry -- "We tried to obtain a copy of Obama’s birth certificate, but his campaign would not release it and the state of Hawaii does not make such records public."

Of course, this heightens speculation that something incriminating is on it.

Could it be his TRUE birth date?

Could it be his TRUE religion at birth?

Could it be the TURE name of his father?

Could it be the true nation of his citizenship?

Could it be nothing more than nonsense?

I, along with many others, would like to know?

The Past Choices of Energy Exploration of the Republicans and Democrats

This evening (Tuesday) I was surfing the net and flipping channels. I came upon CSPAN and witnessed some representatives speaking before the House. A few Republican congressmen were discussing some of the policies and votes which were taken in the past concerning energy and oil exploration.

Granted, I understand that both parties have done very little to keep this tragedy form happening. I think Republicans could have pushed the issue a bit more. They would propose a bill and the Democrats would scuttle it. I am sure there are things done behind closed doors that I do not understand, but I still think they could have done more in the past to prevent this from coming to this point.

Gasoline prices are out of control. The cost of a gallon of gas is rising by the day. Last week, during the last few days in school, my students and I were discussing items in the news. I do that specific topic two to three times a week.

One of the instructional strategies of our school district is to make all teaching relevant to the student's life. I never thought of this technique as anything new in education. I have always talked to my students about topics and issues in the news.

Anyway, I will get back on topic. One of my students inquired if I thought gas prices would ever go back down. They also questioned what I thought the prices would be in a year, five years, 20 years.

I responded in the same way I always do. I turned their questions back at them in order to help them find the answer. After a bit of discussion, they came up with some answers and more questions.

One student even brought up ANWR. I was astonished. This student was not what I considered bright, so I guess he had been listening to TV or doing some reading, which made me feel like I had gotten through to him.

In any case, I wish I had the information that I is posted below. I would have presented it to them. It is the same information that the congressmen were quoting In their discussion in CSPAN.

I had heard this information previously and after some diligent research, I found it. Below is the information concerning the percentages of votes cast by Republican and democrats. It is an eye opening bit of data.

Who's Responsible?

ANWR Exploration:
House Republicans: 91% Supported
House Democrats: 86% Opposed

Coal-to-Liquid:
House Republicans: 97% Supported
House Democrats: 78% Opposed

Oil Shale Exploration:
House Republicans: 90% Supported
House Democrats: 86% Opposed

Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Exploration:
House Republicans: 81% Supported
House Democrats: 83% Opposed

Refinery Increased Capacity:
House Republicans: 97% Supported
House Democrats: 96% Opposed

Summary:
91% of House Republicans have historically voted to increase the production of American-made oil and gas.
86% of House Democrats have historically voted against increasing the production of American-made oil and gas.

I would love to question Barack HUSSEIN Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary RODHAM Clinton and the other tree huggers in the House and Senate to explain WHY. I am willing to bet it would be the same, old, canned answer they always give when backed into a corner.

Real Men of Genius Commercial #1

I was surfing YouTube this evening/morning and came across some commercials. I absolutely love well done, funny commercials. As you know, I posted all the Super Bowl Commercials from this year's game on thsi forum.

Below is a funny, funny one. Yes I know it is sophomoric humor but I really LMAO at this commercial. I bet we have ALL be in this situation (the one who notices the strange odor, of course)

I will post more "Real Men of Genius" commercials as I find them. Enjoy!

Men CANNOT Have Babies!!!!

It has been reported that sex-change dad Thomas Beatie and his wife Nancy are having a baby. Worldwide press are posting the headlines such as "Dad-to-be reveals joy" and "World's first 'pregnant man' -- four weeks from the birth!"

I am sorry. This is crazy. She is not a man. She is a woman. I do not care how many operations she has had to make her a man. I do not care how many testosterone injections she has had to become a man. SHE IS A WOMAN!!!

This is sick. I cannot calculate the number of reason this is so wrong. The liberal tree-hugging wackos are taking over the world and are trying to force their perverted lifestyles down our throats.

I am so tired of perversions and decadent behavior being given creditability in an attempt to make them accepted by mainstream society.

Remember the fall of the Roman Empire? I think we may be headed towards a similar fate sooner than we think. If Barack HUESSEIN Obama (aka Oprah's Love Child) is elected POTUS, it will happen sooner than later.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama's List of Lies: Numbers 69-72

Here is another installment of the lies of BaracK HUSSEIN Obama:

69) “I stopped smoking. I stopped smoking. I haven’t had a cigarette since I quit - LIAR - But in his own words, here is what Obama said. Except….last night on MSNBC’s Hardball, Obama admitted that his attempt to wean himself from the vile tobacco weed had not been entirely successful. I fell off the wagon a couple times during the course of it, and then was able to get back on,” he said. “But it is a struggle like everything else.” Source:
ABC News

70) I did not campaign in Florida, (so Florida vote shouldn’t count) - LIAR -According to Boston Globe, HeraldTribune and other sites, Obama airs “ads” on Cable stations in Florida. Even with the Florida cable ads, Obama still lost. See the video
here

71) Obama distort (aka “Lie”) about McCain saying, “McCain (he) is willing to send our troops too another war of 100 years in Iraq”. Obama also denied what he said on the video - LIAR - The video proves him absolutely untruthful (”a liar”). See the video
here.

72) Obama on Guns - when Obama ran for the Illinois state senate the political group, Independent Voters of Illinois (IVI), asked him if he supported a “ban [on] the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns” and he responded “yes.” - LIAR- But in what will probably be the most improbable change, the Politico reported on Saturday that Barack Obama was making a big play for gun votes in Pennsylvania. In 1998, another questionnaire administered by IL State Legislative National Political Awareness Test didn’t ask about banning all handguns, but it did find that Obama wanted to “ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons.” Source: Fox News and Politico.com

Questionable (Racist) Rants by Barack HUSSEIN Obama

I found this video clip over at fellow blogger Cassy Fiano's site. She describes the clip as "frightening and offensive". I must say I have to agree.

Bush orders contractors to check legal status of employees

President Bush today signed an executive order requiring contractors and others who do business with the federal government to make sure their employees can legally work in the U.S.

This is a step in the right direction. Now let's see how many of the left wing wackos come out of the woodwork to condemn this move.

Read the article
here.

"The men who do not become Americans and nothing else are hyphenated Americans; and there ought to be no room for them in this country. The man who calls himself an American citizen and who yet shows by his actions that he is primarily the citizen of a foreign land, plays a thoroughly mischievous part in the life of our body politic. He has no place here; and the sooner he returns to the land to which he feels his real heart-allegiance, the better it will be for every good American. There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else...." - Teddy Rooesvelt

McCain Takes Obama to Task On Jerusalem, Other Flip-Flops

In the video clip below, John SIDNEY McCain rips Barack HUSSEIN Obama over his flip flops and his views on Jerusalem.

McCain got it right on this one. Barack HUSSEIN Obama deos not know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Hillary Vows Support of Obama

I do not believe my title statement one little bit.

The Clintons are for themselves and nobody else. Hillary knows if Obama is elected, she will not be able to run again for President for eight years. If he goes down to McCain, she can run again in four years. Do the simple math. She says she is for Obama, but will do everything she can (covertly, of course) to derail him in November. McCain will win and she will be free to run in 2012. Obama, at last, will be just a minor annoyance.

LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE: Clint Eastwood versus Spike Lee

This could be the fight of the centruy. This fight could be as big a Ali-Frazier. This could be a fight the people could talk about for years and years to come. It is Eastwwod versus Lee. It is Dirty Harry versus Mars Blackmon.

It all started when Spike Lee complained that there were no black soldiers in either of Clint Eastwood’s Oscar-nominated war films Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima.

Spike was upset that the African-American contingent didn’t seem to get any acknowledgement whatsoever from Clint, and he spoke up at the Cannes Film Festival in May. He said:

Clint Eastwood made two films about Iwo Jima that ran for more than four hours total, and there was not one Negro actor on the screen. If you reporters had any balls you’d ask him why. But I know it was pointed out to him and that he could have changed it. It’s not like he didn’t know…
To which Clint Eastwood replied:

A guy like that should shut his face.
A guy like what exactly? Like a black man? Or like a scrawny-faced owl man? We just don’t know. What we do know is that this town is not big enough for the both of them. Yee-haw!

But anyway, Spike Lee has responded to Clint’s comment. He told ABC News:

First of all, the man is not my father and we’re not on a plantation. The thing about it though, I didn’t personally attack him. And a comment like ‘a guy like that should shut his face’ - come on Clint, come on. He sounds like an angry, old man right there. It’s just that there’s not one black in either film. And because I know my history, that’s why I made that observation.
Lee is currently in the midst of post-production on his own WWII epic, Miracle as St. Anna, which, according to IMDB.com, ‘chronicles the story of four black American soldiers who are members of the US Army as part of the all-black 92nd Buffalo Soldier Division stationed in Tuscany, Italy, during World War II’.

Did we read that correctly; the ‘all-black’ division? Not even a token white boy to occasionally "honky up the proceedings"? Outrageous.

Spike furthered:

Many veterans, African-Americans, who survived that war are upset at Clint Eastwood. In his vision of Iwo Jima, Negro soldiers did not exist. Simple as that. I have a different version.
Clint was initially reluctant to respond to Spike’s remarks, but eventually told the Guardian:

The story is ‘Flags of Our Fathers,’ the famous flag-raising picture. If I go ahead and put an African-American actor in there, people’d go, ‘This guy’s lost his mind.’ I mean, it’s not accurate.
Anybody know any war historians to clear this up?

As it currently stands, Spike has had the last word, and here it is:

Even though he’s trying to have a Dirty Harry flashback, I’m going to take the Obama high road and end it right here.

I hope these two go to blows. It would be fun to see Dirty Harry kick the shit out of Mars Blackmon.

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?" - Harry Callahan (aka Dirty Harry) as played by Clint Eastwood in the movie "Dirty Harry"

Senior Goes Bezerk at Graduation

A story over at WorldNetDaily tells of a graduating senior gone wild.

Joseph Bryan Shore's march to the podium to receive his diploma Friday night was not met with the usual pomp and circumstance. Perhaps it was because he used his 15-second walk in the spotlight to curse at his family and school administrators, make an obscene gesture at the crowd and take a swing at his principal.

Police were called in following the ceremony at Arab High School in Arab, Ala., to settle the 18-year-old graduate, but his continued cursing and resisting of police officers led to his arrest on charges of disorderly conduct.

This guy is a real winner. I bet his family is really proud. Read more my clicking here.

Video from the Texas Democratic Convention

I was surfing this morning and found the following video clip from the Texas Democratic Convention in Austin.

Look and listen to the people who are highlighted. One claims she is a Hillary supporter but will support Obama regardless. Another describes her attempt to attend the African American Caucus and being turned away because she is white, and a third claiming she is Obama's mother.

If these people are the rank and file of the democratic party, then they are in trouble. While watching this clip, I thought about how unrealistic, how uninformed, how racist, and how misguided these people are. Is this the face of the Americans we want to help select the leaders of our country? I think not.

The woman who was turned away from the African American Caucus was right. It was racism. I am willing to bet she votes for McCain in November.

I will post more lunacy from the convention as it becomes available.

PS: NO...I AM NOT THERE IN PERSON!!!!

UN Overstates Scale of AIDS Pandemic

James Cain, a former senior AIDS official with the World Health Organization, has stated that the United Nations has exaggerated the scale of the AIDS pandemic and the risk of the HIV virus affecting heterosexuals. He further states that the number of people worldwide with HIV have been inflated and the UN AIDS agency has wasted billions of dollars on education aimed at people who are unlikely to become infected.

Read the story on this topic by clicking
here.

I have never trusted the United Nations and their affiliated organizations. Here is another case of money being thrown down a hole for which there was no need. That money could have been spent elsewhere on many more deserving things.

I have an idea the same will be said of global warming. In about 25 years, experts will claim that there never was a problem with global warming and the earth has been warming and colling naturally for millions of years.

People working for the United Nations and Al Gore types need a reason to keep their jobs, their names in the press, and to increase their bank accounts. What better way than to acomplish that than to predict doom and gloom.

It it obvious to me that the tree-hugging, liberal democrats fit right into this mold. They want to save the masses when they do not need saving. They courageously sound the alarm and mobilize the forces to save the masses. In reality, the only thing they are accomplishing is to fatten their own wallets.

"The Natural" with Robert Redford

This is the ending scene of "The Natural". This is one film that I've always loved since I was in my 20s. It captures the game of baseballin all its beauty and glory. This scene always gives me the chills. Enjoy!

John Wayne "Hellfighters"

Another great John Wayne movie. It is one of my favorites. I loved the music when they got the call to fight a fire.

WKRP In Cincinatti

WKRP in Cincinnati was one of the best television shows of the 70s, if not the entire history of television. Below is the opening for the show, without the classic radio dial switching, (looking for radio station WKRP). That clip used to be on YouTube but I guess the YouTube-Internet police got to it.

In any case, sit back and enjoy. Sing along if you must. You will find you cannot help but sing along.

"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly." - Arthur 'Big Guy' Carlson as played by Gordon Jump on "WKRP in Cincinnati"

George C. Scott as General George S. Patton

I remember when George C. Scott won the Academy Award for Best Actor for "Patton." He refused to accept the award and send, if my memory serves me, an American Indian woman to pick it up.

His portrayal of Patton was one of the greatest of his career. Below is his speech to his troops that was the opening scene of the movie.

It was in reality, a combination of various speeches he had given over the years.

Now sit back and enjoy. I know if you are a red-blooded American, you will LOVE it!!!

"Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity." - George S. Patton

See if this brings back some memories.....

The History Channel used to play this show's reruns on Sunday mornings. I know the series was not historically correct, but I loved seeing those WW2 aircraft. The Corsair is my favorite.

The Main Event: McCain versus Obama

Now that it looks like Barack HUSSEIN Obama (aka Oprah's Love Child) and John SIDNEY McCain will be facing off in the November election, let's look at how each one stand on the issues.

ABORTION

McCain: Opposes abortion rights. Has voted for abortion restrictions permissible under Roe v. Wade, and now says he would seek to overturn that guarantee of abortion rights. Would not seek constitutional amendment to ban abortion.

Obama: Favors abortion rights.

CAMPAIGN FINANCE

McCain: The co-author of McCain-Feingold campaign finance law, he plans to run his general campaign with public money and within its spending limits. He has urged Obama to do the same. He turned down federal matching funds for primaries so he could spend more than the limits. Federal Election Commission letter said he needs FEC approval before withdrawing from the primary public financing system, but FEC has not had quorum to act. McCain says he needs no such approval. McCain accepts campaign contributions from lobbyists.

Obama: The presidential campaign's fundraising champion has brought in nearly $265 million. Has signaled he will raise private money for his general election, despite his proposal last year to accept public financing and its spending limits if the Republican nominee does, too. Obama refuses to accept money from federal lobbyists and has instructed the Democratic National Committee to do the same for its joint victory fund, an account that would benefit the nominee. Obama does accept money from state lobbyists and from family members of federal lobbyists.

CUBA

McCain: Ease restrictions on Cuba once U.S. is "confident that the transition to a free and open democracy is being made."

Obama: Ease restrictions on family-related travel and on money Cuban-Americans want to send to their families in Cuba. Open to meeting new Cuban leader Raul Castro without preconditions. Ease trade embargo if Havana "begins opening Cuba to meaningful democratic change."

DEATH PENALTY

McCain: Has supported expansion of the federal death penalty and limits on appeals.

Obama: Supports death penalty for crimes for which the "community is justified in expressing the full measure of its outrage." As Illinois lawmaker, wrote bill mandating videotaping of interrogations and confessions in capital cases and sought other changes in system that had produced wrongful convictions.

EDUCATION

McCain: Favors parental choice of schools, including vouchers for private schools when approved by local officials, and right of parents to choose home schooling. More money for community college education.

Obama: Encourage but not require universal pre-kindergarten programs, expand teacher mentoring programs and reward teachers with higher pay not tied to standardized test scores, in $18 billion plan to be paid for in part by delaying elements of moon and Mars missions. Change No Child Left Behind law "so that we're not just teaching to a test and crowding out programs like art and music." Tax credit to pay up to $4,000 of college expenses for students who perform 100 hours of community service a year.

GAY MARRIAGE

McCain: Opposes constitutional amendment to ban it. Says same-sex couples should be allowed to enter into legal agreements for insurance and similar benefits.

Obama: Opposes constitutional amendment to ban it. Supports civil unions, says states should decide about marriage.

GLOBAL WARMING

McCain: Broke with President Bush on global warming. Led Senate effort to cap greenhouse gas emissions; favors tougher fuel efficiency. Favors plan that would see greenhouse gas emissions cut by 60 percent by 2050. Supports more nuclear power.

Obama: Ten-year, $150 billion program to produce "climate friendly" energy supplies that he'd pay for with a carbon auction requiring businesses to bid competitively for the right to pollute. Joined McCain in sponsoring earlier legislation that would set mandatory caps on greenhouse gas emissions. Supports tougher fuel efficiency standards.

GUN CONTROL

McCain: Voted against ban on assault-type weapons but in favor of requiring background checks at gun shows. Voted to shield gun-makers and dealers from civil suits. "I believe the Second Amendment ought to be preserved _ which means no gun control."

Obama: Voted to leave gun-makers and dealers open to suit. Also, as Illinois state lawmaker, supported ban on all forms of semiautomatic weapons and tighter state restrictions generally on firearms.

HEALTH CARE

McCain: $2,500 refundable tax credit for individuals, $5,000 for families, to make health insurance more affordable. No mandate for universal coverage. In gaining the tax credit, workers could not deduct the portion of their workplace health insurance paid by their employers.

Obama: Mandatory coverage for children, no mandate for adults. Aim for universal coverage by requiring employers to share costs of insuring workers and by offering coverage similar to that in plan for federal employees. Says package would cost up to $65 billion a year after unspecified savings from making system more efficient. Raise taxes on wealthier families to pay the cost.

HOUSING

McCain: Open to helping homeowners facing foreclosure if they are "legitimate borrowers" and not speculators.

Obama: Tax credit covering 10 percent of annual mortgage interest payments for "struggling homeowners," scoring system for consumers to compare mortgages, a fund for mortgage fraud victims, new penalties for mortgage fraud, aid to state and local governments stung by housing crisis, in $20 billion plan geared to "responsible homeowners."

IMMIGRATION

McCain: Sponsored 2006 bill that would have allowed illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S., work and apply to become legal residents after learning English, paying fines and back taxes and clearing a background check. Now says he would secure the border first. Supports border fence.

Obama: Voted for 2006 bill offering legal status to illegal immigrants subject to conditions, including English proficiency and payment of back taxes and fines. Voted for border fence.

IRAN

McCain: Favors tougher sanctions, opposes direct high-level talks with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Obama: Initially said he would meet Ahmadinejad without preconditions, now says he's not sure "Ahmadinejad is the right person to meet with right now." But says direct diplomacy with Iranian leaders would give U.S. more credibility to press for tougher international sanctions.

IRAQ

McCain: Opposes scheduling a troop withdrawal, saying latest strategy is succeeding. Supported decision to go to war, but was early critic of the manner in which administration prosecuted it. Key backer of the troop increase. Willing to have permanent U.S. peacekeeping forces in Iraq.

Obama: Spoke against war at start, opposed troop increase. Now says his plan would complete withdrawal of combat troops by end of 2009, four months sooner than his previous commitment. Before that, had said a timetable for completing withdrawal would be irresponsible without knowing what facts he'd face in office.

SOCIAL SECURITY

McCain: Would consider "almost anything" as part of a compromise to save Social Security, yet rules out higher payroll taxes for now.

Obama: Proposes raising cap with an unspecified "small adjustment" that would subject a portion of higher incomes to Social Security taxes.

STEM CELL RESEARCH

McCain: Supports relaxing federal restrictions on financing of embryonic stem cell research.

Obama: Supports relaxing restrictions on federal financing of embryonic stem cell research.

TAXES

McCain: "No new taxes" if elected. Twice opposed Bush's tax cuts, at first because he said they were tilted to the wealthiest and again because of the unknown costs of Iraq war. Now says those tax cuts, expiring in 2010, should be permanent. Proposes cutting corporate tax rate to 25 percent. Promises balance budget in first term, says that is unlikely in his first year.

Obama: Raise income taxes on wealthiest and their capital gains and dividends taxes. Raise corporate taxes. $80 billion in tax breaks mainly for poor workers and elderly, including tripling Earned Income Tax Credit for minimum-wage workers and higher credit for larger families. Eliminate tax-filing requirement for older workers making under $50,000. A mortgage-interest credit could be used by lower-income homeowners who do not take the mortgage interest deduction because they do not itemize their taxes.

TRADE

McCain: Free trade advocate.

Obama: Seek to reopen North American Free Trade Agreement to strengthen enforcement of labor and environmental standards. In 2004 Senate campaign, called for "enforcing existing trade agreements," not amending them.

First Video Ever Aired by MTV

Below is the first video ever aired my MTV on its debut on August 1, 1981. That was when they played videos instead of all the crap they play now.

I was 27 and had been teaching for three years, unmarried, and working on my masters degree. Oh, those were the days.

Here is the original video of "Money for Nothing" by "Dire Straits."

Enjoy!

“That ain't working. That's the way you do it. ... Get your money for nothing and your chicks for free.” - Lyrics from Dire Straits' song "Money for Nothing."

"Weird" Al Yankovic's Beverly Hillbillies

I always thought "Weird" Al Yankovic was so talented. I loved it when he took a popular song and rewrote it in his own words. Below is one he did on one my favorite television shows of my youth.

Sit back and enjoy.

Gene Simmons, KISS and Views of the World

I never really go to know anything about Gene Simmons and KISS until his show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" came on television. I have watched the show and really like this guy.

I have posted some information about him from various sources below. Read and enjoy. After the information, I have posted a video with KISS preforming their most famous song.
Enjoy!!!

On Middle Eastern Muslim Terrorists:

In 2004, during an interview in Melbourne, Australia, Simmons described Islam as a "vile culture" wherein women had fewer rights than dogs. He described Islam as a threat, claiming that they wanted to leave the Middle East and supplant non-Muslims in other parts of the world by force. The Muslim community took offense, with Australian Muslim of the year Susan Carland asserting that Simmons' stereotyping of Muslims was inaccurate and that she never walked behind her husband as Simmons stated all Muslim women were required to do. He later said on his website that he was talking specifically about extremist Muslims.

On Drugs:

In his autobiography Kiss and Makeup, said that his mother is primarily the reason why he has never used drugs. He decided years ago that she'd already been through enough having survived the horrors of the Holocaust, and he didn't want to break her heart by becoming a drug addict.

On Politics:

Simmons, in terms of political views, describes himself as neither Democrat nor Republican, but voting based on the issues. While he supports a woman's right to abortion, the environment and church/state separation, he supported Bush in 2004 because he agreed with Bush's foreign policy stands.

More On Politics:

I believe that most people are like me, which is why sometimes Republicans get in and sometimes Democrats. Very few people are either like Hannity or Sean Penn. Most people are centrists, and by the way, I get along with Hannity just fine. On political issues, foreign policy specifically, O'Reilly and I get along just fine—we agree on foreign policy. I think the war's been handled poorly, but there's no choice. You gotta get there. The Second World War was handled terribly until D-day.

In terms of this Republican administration, some views about stem cell research, gay rights, separation of church and state, and on and on—I don't agree with any of them. But you can worry about the trees and the environment and gas emissions later. Right now there's a bigger problem, and it's a guy who doesn't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat; he wants to blow himself up and take you out. That's the problem. I think racially profiling anybody from the Middle East ... the Swiss have been good this year, and as an Israeli, I want you to look at me first. I want you to search my anal cavity and look at my tax records. I want you to look at me first, and then at every guy named Muhammad.

I may not agree with all his beliefs, but his are closer to mine than many others out there.

Mrs. Barack HUSSEIN Obama Uses the "W" Word

Much is on the interest about Michelle Obama (aka Mrs. Barack HUSSEIN Obama) and her comment using the "W" word. If people cannot use the "N" word (Which it think is true, the word it terrible and racist), then how can she get away with calling white people "Whitey?"

Yes sports fan, both are just words. However, they are both sued as terns of racism, dedgredation, and most-of-all, a lack of respect for others.

Volumes have been written about the Obama's and the alleged racism against white. If the Republicans have this tape, it will cinch the election for McCain. No matter how many people support BHO, they will run for cover if his wife indeed made racist comment about whites.

I will post more on this as it develops.

"Field of Dreams"

If this movie doesn't get you choked up, then you don't have a heart in your chest.

I think people miss it when they say it is a baseball film. I don't think it is. It's a movie about fathers and sons. And if you have ever been one or the other (or both), then Field of Dreams will speak to you.

I lost my father 20 years ago. I was always thankful I told him how much I appreciated how he raised me. He was a drill sergeant in the Army. Growing up, I hated the way he treated and raise me. I thought is was so tough. As I got older, I understand why he did it and thanked him. It was just before he died. My wife, who was the only girl/woman he really took a liking to, tells me all the time I am exactly like my father. I don't see it, but she says it is true. In my mind, I could never be the man my father was.

To this day, every time I see this clip, I think about him and the clip makes me cry. I miss him so much. He is the reason I am the man I am today.

If he is looking down from heaven right now, I want him to know I think about him everyday. I love you Dad. Thanks for making the person I am now.

"Life it hard. If you are not tough, no one will take care of you." - My father.
