First Video Ever Aired by MTV

Below is the first video ever aired my MTV on its debut on August 1, 1981. That was when they played videos instead of all the crap they play now.

I was 27 and had been teaching for three years, unmarried, and working on my masters degree. Oh, those were the days.

I wasn't such fan of 80s music This is a good song, but not my cup of tea. I love exploring old music though. Wow that hurts to say, doesn't it?

Law and Order Teacher: I never cared one way of another for this song. I found it interesting that it was the first video played on MTV. They don't play videos anymore and have become a voice for all that is decadent and perverse in the world. There are some good songs form the 80s, but my tastes lie more with 50s, 60s and 70s music.
