Neat movie. Red Adair was a true daredevil. I remember either I heard in the movie, or I read somewhere, that the explosion was like blowing out a candle. Some candle. I am off to watch "Heartbreak Ridge." Another great movie. Clint Eastwood recently had a set-to with Mars Blackmon, aka Spike Lee about Clint's lack of black actors in Flags of Our Fathers. Clint basically told him, check your history. There weren't any black combat units on Iwo Jima. Clint told him to stuff it. My kind of man. Don't change history.
Law and Order Teacher: I read about the ClintEastwood-Spike Jones conflict. I have always thought that Spike Jones was given too much credit as a driector/producer (or whatever he does). His films were below average and if the black community had not rallied around him and his productions, he would have never made it in the industry. (sort of sounds like Barack HUSSEIN Obama). That might be the subject for a blog post. Thanks for the idea.
