The End of a Nation?

Well, IT HAS HAPPENED. Barack HUSSEIN Obama has been elected President of the United States.

As many know, I have NEVER supported BHO (aka Little Barry Soetoro). He does not have the values, morals, experience, or any of the traits that I want in a person who holds the highest office in the land.

Even though I voted for John McCain, he was not my first choice for POTUS. McCain is a RINO (Republican In Name Only). However, he was a better choice, in my mind, that BHO. I think Mike Huckabee, Fred Thompson, Tom Tancredo, and Milt Romney would have made a better President than McCain. Any of them would definitely make a President than Little Barry Soetoro.

The results of this election really bother me. I cannot for the life of me understand why ANYONE could fall for the empty rhetoric and false charisma of BHO? The only reason I feel, that many voted for BHO, was that in their minds, they were voting AGAINST George W. Bush and his policies.

Yes, I voted for GWB in 2000 and 2004, however I did not support all of his ideas. I was against "No Child Left Behind." The program does not work. Too much pressure was placed on the teachers and schools, while very little accountability was placed on the students and their parents.

I was against Bush's stance on immigration. He should have done more to fix or at lease curtail the flow of criminal aliens int our country.

Bush made some mistakes as President. I can live with that. Anyone who tries to do his best and works hard cannot be faulted.

However, I have a feeling that BHO does not have the best interest of the United Sates at heart.

I feel he does not have the best interests of American citizens at heart.

I do not trust Barach HUSSEIN Obama. In my mind, it is as simple as that. He cannot be trusted. His promises were just that...promises. Promises that he cannot or will not keep.

Eight years ago, he was an unknown local politician from Chicago. He has spent most of those eight years planning and plotting to become the POTUS.

I thought the same thing about Bill Clinton in his eight years running the country. He did not disappoint me. History will in my humble opinion, view Clinton as one of the worse Presidents in US history. The only President that will be worse than Clinton will be Obama.

He is going to take this county to the depths of dispair and division from which we will NEVER recover.

When we do start falling into that bottomless pit of distruction, he will blame it on the conservatives. He will blame it on the Republicans. He will blame it on anyone who ahs an opposing view point to his.

50 million votes fell for his line. They fell for his empty "promise of change" hook, line, and sinker.

Those 50 million people need to keep a close watch on the government. Many of them are going to experience voters remorse. Once Obama takes office and has to produce instead of just mking promises, his inexperience and lack of knowledge will become evident.

Some of those 50 million people are eventually going to reasize that they have been fed a bill of goods and thsoe goods have the foul stench of garbage on them.

It is sad than no matter how bad Obama does, there will still be people out there singing his praises. They will back him no matter what he does.

That is the sad thing. He will have four years, and possibly eight, to take this country into a era from which we will not recover.

I am fearful of how his opposition will be viewed and treated once he takes the oath of office.

Things are going to be different in the Good Old USA. The days of that Good Old USA are gone forever.

"For over a thousand years, Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of a triumph - a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeters and musicians and strange animals from the conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conqueror rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children, robed in white, stood with him in the chariot, or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror, holding a golden crown, and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting." - George W. Patton

Fox News: Obama Takes Pennsylvania

(7:30pm CST): Fox News has just called Pennsylvania for Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

That is bad news for McCain.
“We just found out yesterday what Sen. Obama really thinks about coal. There’s a new video where he talks about what he thinks about coal. “The quote is, ‘If somebody wants to build a coal-fired plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them.’ How out of touch is that?”- John SIDNEY McCain

McCain Blasts NBC's Pro-Obama Bias

The John Sidney McCain campaign fired off an angry letter to NBC News criticizing Andrea Mitchell's comments regarding the "cone of silence" at Saturday night's presidential candidates' forum at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California.

It is about time. Read the story
here.

Obama to Step Up Attacks on Hillary

In an article in the Houston Chronicle, Barack Obama was quoted in blaming his primary defeats in Ohio and Texas on Hillary Clinton's criticism and news coverage that he argued benefited her at his expense.

He also stated he plans to do more in the days ahead to raise doubts about Clinton's claims to foreign policy and other Washington experience. In a television ad that her campaign credits with helping her win, she portrayed herself as most prepared to handle an international crisis.

"What exactly is this foreign policy experience?" Obama asked mockingly. "Was she negotiating treaties? Was she handling crises? The answer is no."

I love the Democrats. Oprah's Love Child and the Super Bitch can go after each other tooth and nail; spending massive amounts of money to take each other down. McCain can sit back, plan his campaign, and stockpile campaign money for the general election.

These two can continue to bankrupt each other and tear each other's hearts out. It will make it easier for the Republicans to beat them in November.

Super Tuesday for Texas

Texas Truth left school as soon as my final class was dismissed to go to vote. My usual voting location was moved, but the new location was about the same distance from my house as the old location, so it was not a big deal.

I did, for a moment, consider voting in the Democratic Primary for Hillary Clinton. Rush Limbaugh has been a strong voice of Republicans crossing over to vote for Hillary in order to help John McCain in the general election.

After some thought, I could not do it. I have vote Republican in every election in my life except twice. Once I voted for a friend who was running for a local office as a Libertarian and another time I voted for a friend's father who was also running for a local office as a Democrat. In every other election, I have voted Republican.

(Note: In both cases that I did not vote Republican, they both lost.)

This evening I am going back to the election site for the local Republican neighborhood convention. I attended the local convention in 2000 and 2004 and was selected to go to the county convention later this spring. I never have an aspirations to go to the Texas State Republican Convention, but the local convention is fun.

I will post more about how the primary is going here in Texas and how my local convention goes this evening.

McCain: Bush Should Veto Torture Bill

Republican presidential candidate John McCain said President Bush should veto a measure that would bar the CIA from using waterboarding and other harsh interrogation methods on terror suspects.

McCain is well known for his opposition to waterboarding, but he doesn't want the CIA being bound by using only the 19 interrogation techniques listed in the Army field manual
I am glad to see this. I feel the CIA should have broad discretion when it comes to questioning terror suspects.

Personally, I could not care less about the rights of someone who is planning to terrorize the United States. The CIA should have the power to do whatever needs to be done to extract information to save American lives.

Castro Resigns...What McCain, Obama, and Hillary Think

Fidel Castro has stepped down as the President (and whatever other titles he has bestowed upon himself over the years) of Cuba.

I have been surfing the net looking for reactions. I wondered what John McCain, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton think about this?

McCain made his thoughts known early:

“We must press the Castro regime to release all political prisoners unconditionally, to legalize all political parties, labor union and free media, and to schedule internationally monitored elections.”

Obama was quoted:

“Fidel Castro’s stepping down is an essential first step, but it is sadly insufficient in bringing freedom to Cuba. Cuba’s future should be determined by the Cuban people and not by an anti-democratic successor regime. The prompt release of prisoners on conscience wrongly jailed for standing up for the basic freedoms too long denied to the Cuban people would mark an important break with the past.”

In addition, Obama said that the United States should be prepared to take steps to normalize relations with Cuba and to ease the longstanding embargo on trade with the island nation, if its government “begins opening Cuba to meaningful democratic change.”

Clinton stated:

“I would say to the new leadership, the people of the United States are ready to meet you if you move forward toward the path of democracy, with real, substantial reforms.”

Obama thinks the United States needs to ease the embargo of Cuba. Why does that not surprise me after posting about his Houston headquarters having a Cuban flag with the image of Che Guevara on it hanging on a wall.

Clinton said the USA is ready to mean they if Cuba moves forward towards democracy. Note the words "moves forward towards democracy" and not "become a democracy."

McCain stated what Cuba needed to do. I can go with that. I wish he issued a more forceful statement, but it was definitely better than the statements of Oprah's Love Child or The Super Bitch.

Romney Backs McCain

Former Republican campaign Mitt Romney endorsed John McCain for the party's presidential nomination and asked his national convention delegates to swing behind the likely nominee.

"Even when the contest was close and our disagreements were debated, the caliber of the man was apparent," the former Massachusetts governor said, standing alongside his one-time rival at his now- defunct campaign's headquarters. "This is a man capable of leading our country at a dangerous hour."

I know Romney is setting up for future Presidental bids, but could he also be setting himslef up for a possible cabinet post?

The plot thickens. Stay tuned for further developments.

Bush: "McCain is a TRUE Conservative"

John McCain is a "true conservative," President Bush has stated.

That is not good enough for me. I want a "TRUE 'true conservative.'" I do not want to be forced to vote for a "lesser of two evils."

I may have no choice not to vote for McCain if we are to keep Oprah's Love Child or SuperBitch out of the White House.

Things used to be so much simpler. I wish Mr. Peabody or Dr. Emmett Brown were around now. Take me back to a time went conservative values were the norm of a good American society. Where the people we elected really had our best interests at heart. Take me back to a time when being outside the box was not viewed as the norm.

I know I am dreaming. We will never go back to those times. Too much has happened and too many things have changed. Why is it that people call for change, but only when they are not the ones in power. Some change is good, but not always. Mr. Peabody and Doc Brown could help us now, but only if they were "TRUE CONSERVATIVES."

Romney Drops Out, Now There Is Three

Mitt Romney today suspended his campaign for President of the United States. With his withdrawal, three candidates remain in the hunt for the Republican nomination; John McCain, Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul.

I do not see Huckabee or Paul as being a challenge to McCain. The nomination is effectively his.

That is where my problem lies. I do not view McCain as a true conservative. I feel he is a RINO.

I still do not know what to do. I cannot support McCain with his view on immigration. I will have to study on this a bit more.

With Giuliani out, Texas Governor Rick Perry Endorses McCain

Texas Governor Rick Perry today endorsed U.S. Senator John McCain for the Republican presidential nomination, a day after the governor's first favorite candidate, Rudy Giuliani, dropped out of the race.

I have four words about this:
WHAT A BIG SURPRISE!!!!

Giuliani Drops Out of Race; Throws Support to McCain

"Today I am officially announcing my withdrawal as a candidate for President of the United States.”

With those words, Rudy Giuliani formally ended his presidential bid Wednesday afternoon, having flown clear across the country so he could share a lectern at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and throw his support behind John McCain.

The announcement was timed for maximum exposure: hundreds of reporters and photographers had gathered here to cover the suddenly-shrinking debate.

I predicted this last night. I guess I got lucky.

More on this later.

PREDICTION: Giuliani Will Drop Out of Race on Wednesday

I think, after hearing Rudy Giuliani speak tonight, he will drop out of the race sometime tomorrow (Wednesday) and throw his support behind John McCain.

That could be a very smart move. It might set him up as a possible Vice-Presidential candidate if McCain gets the Republican nomination for President.

The Plot Thickens!!!!

Stay tuned for further developments.
I will post more on this tomorrow evening.

Des Moines, Iowa TV Poll: Democratic and Republican Favorites

KCCI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa released this past Thursday the results of The Research 2000 Iowa Poll, which was conducted from Dec. 18-20, 2006

The poll consisted of telephone interviews of 600 likely Iowa voters and has a margin of error of no more than plus or minus 4 percentage points and asked Iowa Democrats which candidates they would vote for if the 2008 Democratic Caucus were held today.

The top four results were as follows:
Sen. John Edwards-22%
U.S. Sen. Barrack Obama-22%
Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack-12%
U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton-10%

If the 2008 Republican Caucus were held today, Iowa Republicans polled gave the following results:
U.S. Sen. John McCain-27%
Republican Rudy Guiliani-26%
Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney-9%

Perhaps Hillary doesn't have the support she thinlks she does. Remember, the Iowa Caucus is an early idea of what may happen in the real election.
