Representative Michele Bachmann kicked off her presidential campaign today in Waterloo, Iowa.
In a speech, she was quoted;
"Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That's the kind of spirit that I have, too."
The only problem is that John Wayne was from Winterset, Iowa, not Waterloo, Iowa.
Serial killer John Wayne Gace was from Waterloo, Iowa.

Bachmann juts lost me as a supporter. Anyone who is running for POTUS needs to have their facts straight, and I do not care that she is a Republican.
I felt Barack HUSSEIN Obama (aka Little Barry Soetoro, Oprah's Love Child, The Boy Wonder, BO, The Big ZERO, P Bo) messed up when he stated he had campaigned in "57 states." Backmann deserves no slack either.
"You may be right that people say: 'You know what, we had Obama. He was inexperienced. The guy had great rhetoric, sounded good, looked good, but has turned out to be an utter disaster. I want someone where I have confidence and credibility that they're up to the job and that I can trust what they tell me.'" - Karl Rove
The news is awash with legalization of same-sex marriages in New York state. In an article from the Houston Chronicle, gays and lesbians are headed to the Empire State to get hitched. The only thing is such marriages are not recognized in Texas. I really do not care what two consenting adults to behind closed doors, this is just another case of the government granting creditability to something that the majority of Americans are against. Marriage is and always has been a union between a man and a woman. If two people want to "hook up," then that is none of my business, but this decision in New York is wrong. There are no two ways around it. Welcome to a United States of American under liberal indoctrination thanks to Barack HUSSEIN Obama and his absent minded followers.
"I don't think that a same-sex marriage is the way God intended it to be." - Joel Osteen
NewsMax.com is reporting that the Obama administration is in talks this week with Andrew Traver, who could replace the current head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), a man gun-rights groups have railed against as being hostile to their cause.
This is just what we need. Another Obama intellectual liberal making decisions about our constitutional rights.
