My Lovely Bride and I snuck away from a few days to Lake Charles, Louisiana for a short vacation. We stayed at L'Auberge du Lac Hotel and Casino (pictured at the left).
My Lovely Bride had stayed there, with a friend from back east, earlier this summer. I told her we needed to get away for a few days, so away we went.
While we were there, I picked up on a radio station that plays the best music. It is KHLA-FM 92.9 "The Lake". It plays songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s that I have not heard in a long time.
Their website is here. They do broadcast on the Internet, so I think they may be my new choice for listening when I am on the computer. It is too bad I cannot pick them up back in Texas.
Check it out. I think you may like it. Again, their website is here.
