"Illegal Alien" Would Be Banned By Florida Bill

Florida state legislator Frederica Wilson whose district is home to thousands of Caribbean immigrants want to ban the term “illegal alien” from the state’s official documents.

She has been quoted in saying “In Miami-Dade County, we don’t say ‘alien’, we say immigrant.”

As I have stated in past posts, “A rose by any other name is still a rose.”

It doesn’t matter what you call them, they are still “ILLEGAL.”

This bill has little chance of passing, and I am sure Senator Wilson knows it.

This is another case of a politician viewing words as “offensive” and “hateful” and wanting to ban their usage, to further her political career.

“Take up for the poor, unfortunate people who can’t fend for themselves and they will feel beholding to you.”

I know that is what she is thinking, but as least not publicly!!!

Three guesses to which political party Senator Wilson belongs? You get three guesses, but you will only need one.
