In our current poll, Texas Truth ask its readers to vote for, in their opinion, the person that had the best chance to win the Republican nomination for President in 2008.
Fred Thompson was the overwhelming winner, amassing 48 % of the votes. Tom Tancredo and Rudy Giuliani tied for second with 18 %. Sam Brownback, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, and Ron Paul all tallied 4 %. Mitt Romney, Tommy Thompson and “None of the above” did not receive any votes.
There you have it. The readers of Texas Truth Blog have spoken. 46 % of you feel Fred Thompson has the best chance of securing the Republican nomination for President in 2008.
