To paraphrase Ted Nugent, "It was not too many guns that caused the massacre by Cho Seung-Hui at Virginia Tech, it was too few guns."
I have to agree. If just one person who was in the building had been carrying a gun, perhaps they would have dropped this loser.
A "No Gun Zone" are an invitation for wackos to walk in and start shooting. These guys are cowards and they choose these places because they know there will not be any opposition.
If he knew someone might have had a gun, maybe he would have had second thought, or maybe not. There is no way to tell.
One thing I do know is that if just one person had a gun, fewer people would have died. In addition, this loser might have been killed a bit sooner.
If someone would have had a gun, LIVES WOULD HAVE BEEN SAVED.
Any person that cannot see that is blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.

Oh I totally agree. I do have a question for you since you are in TX. Can student on campus carry a concealed weapon? I know that you can if you are in the state of Texas I'm just not sure if you can when you are in college?
angela: Public schools-no, not even a teacher or staff.
College and University-I don't think so.
I believe guns are not allowed in any government facilities. In addition, many businesses to not allow them on their property, even in your vehicle.
I do not have a concealed gun permit, but I am thinking about taking the class and getting one.
About the only place you can carry is if you are on private propertry or in your car.
However, I would imagine there are a great numbetr of them being carried where they are not suppose to be carried.
One place (I do not remember where) allows one to carry a concealed handgun, but only if it unloaded.
Little good a gun is without it being loaded.
