As I've said before, I think it was right for Selig to be there to witness what happened to Major League Baseball on his watch.

I hope he's there to watch every wretched moment when Bonds* actually breaks Aaron's record. He should be there to watch Bonds* round the bases and render MLB's home run record worthless.

In summery, Bonds is a cheater. Bud Selig ignored the problem and has to live with it. As far as I am concerned, Hank Aaron is the REAL home run record holder.
Yes, I have read "Game of Shadows." Some will say everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Yes I agree with that. However, facts are facts. Bonds DID use steroids and even if their use was not against MLB rules, they were against the law.
If he was innocent of all charges, why is Greg Anderson sitting in jail? Why will Anderson not answer questions pertaining to Bonds.

On July 5, 2006, Anderson was found in contempt of court by U.D. District Judge William Alsup for refusing to testify before a federal grand jury investigating perjury accusations against San Francisco Giants' player Barry Bonds.
Bonds appeared before a grand jury investigating the BALCO steroids case in December 2003 and is reported to have denied knowingly using performance enhancing drugs. Anderson, denied bail, was immediately sent to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin California. Anderson's attorney, Mark Geragos, said he would file an appeal based on his assertion that the subpoena to testify violated Anderson's plea bargain agreement in the BALCO case.
On July 20, 2006, Anderson was released when the grand jury's term expired without indicting Bonds. However, Anderson was immediately subpoenaed to testify before a new grand jury that will took up the case. Anderson's attorney, Mark Geragos, stated that Anderson will still refuse to testify, and on August 28, Anderson was again found in contempt of court and sentenced to prison.
The bottom line is that Bonds cheated to get the record, committed a crime when he was involved with steroids, and committed perjury in front of the grand jury.
If his records are not stricken, they should at least have a asterisk place beside them. After all, Roger Maris' record has an asterisk and he didn't cheat or do anything illegal.

Welcome back! I've checked everday and I was glad to see you posted. It is sickening that Bonds will break the record and not because he is a turd, which he is. Moreso, because he cheated and lied about it. MLB and the MSM are scared to death of him and will not treat him as he deserves. Great role model for kids. I wouldn't worry about that except that most parents don't talk to kids about things like this. Too much effort I guess.
I plead ignorance here, as I don't usually follow MLB, but why are the MLB and MSM scared to death of BB?
As for MLB, he has broken the most hallowed record in baseball. Bonds has not only morphed his body into one like professional wrestlers, his HR output has soared as he has aged. Not normal. MLB ignored the steroid problem in their sport for many years. Now they have created a monster they cannot control. How do you solve this problem? Act like it never happened. As for the MSM, he's a black athlete in a sport in which African-Americans are dwindling. Don't touch the icon!
For the life of me, I cannot remember (or possibly don't know) what "MSM" stands for. Please let me know.
