Farmers Branch, Texas votes today approved an ordinance, by a 3 to 1, to ban apartment owners from renting to criminal aliens.Opponents plan to file suit to stop the ordinance from taking effect.
The question is how can opponents sue to stop an ordinance that was legally voted on and approved by the legal votes of a city’s residents? I am not a lawyer, by that doesn’t seem possible to me.
It is about time that people are stepping up to the plate and doing something to make communities unappealing to criminals.
YES…..Illegal immigrants ARE CRIMINALS, along with the people who hire them.
Kudos go out to the citizens of Framers Branch. Perhaps many others will follow your lead.
