Potential Voter Fraud Uncovered In Houston

Harris County Tax Assessor Paul Bettencourt has uncovered a plot to steal dozens of votes with a non-existent address.

All the applications were mailed from El Paso and had the address of 2519 Dashwood Drive, which does not exist.

"We know because all the handwriting is the same," Bettencourt was quoted in saying.

"This type of fraud is used specifically against people in general elections,"
Bettencourt said. "It's used against people in primaries. It's not specific to any political party."

I can only speculate as to who would instigate such a scheme, but I have some ideas.

This is an classic example of why we need to require a photo id to vote in this country. Some groups will do anything to flood the ballot box with fraudulent votes.

It is no wonder that the liberals are against photo identification to vote. It might cut into their number of votes.
