Calls for Obama's Impeachment

Many are calling for the trail, conviction and imprisonment of Barack HUSSEIN Obama (aka Little Barry Soetoro, Oprah's Love Child, The Boy Wonder, BO, The Big ZERO, P Bo). I think that some of that may happen soon than we think.

You can sure bet the impeachment charges will come after the 2010 mid term elections. The liberal democrats are crapping in their pants right now, Not 3 months into his term of office, Barack HUSSEIN Obama as already spent more money, made more mistakes, and pissed off more people that any of his predecessors’ entire terms of office.

The conservatives will take back control of the House and/or the Senate in 2010 and the charges will fly. Watch for a large number of his appointees to bail as we get closer. They know they will be also targets and dragged into the mess that The Boy Wonder has created and will not want to be directly involved with the mess.

He will spend the last two years of his term mired in law suits, criminal and civil charges, and questions on his ability AND the legality of his first two years in office, that he will be lost. Because of this, he will be a lame duck President and will not get a second four years.

After that, he will be nothing more that a bad memory in our minds, a footnote in world history and a lesson for all students of history of how not to be a politician. Add that to the fact that his questionable birth certificate and other hidden records will become increasingly demanded by the public. All of this is a bee hive waiting to be hit by a stick, with it's contends wreaking havoc on everyone.

All in all, the framers would probably agree that it's better to impeach too often than too seldom. If presidents can't be virtuous, they should at least be nervous." - Joseph Sobran

I am going to ask you the same thing I asked libs for 8 years. What specifically has he done that warrants impeachment? Now mind you I didn't vote for Obama and did what I could to convince people that voting for him was a big mistake, but I don't want the GOP spending political capital on an impeachment that is unnecessary or is unsuccessful like with Clinton.

Does that make sense or have I spent too much time with 8th graders?

The Vegas Art Guy: Actually, I can not find anything he has done that could be considered "Impeachable." The Constitution defines impeachment at the federal level and limits impeachment to "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States" who may only be impeached and removed for "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors". Is he stupid enough to have done anything that could be interpreted as "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors"? Well, I don't know. I think that when the time comes, people (politicians and citizens) are going to alsh out at him with all their might. There are too many questions about him, his administration and those supporters. Do I think if the Republicans regain control of the House and senate that they will try to impeach him? The answer is YES!!! Will he be removed from office? Probably not. If it does come out he violated some laws somewhere in his campaign, administration, etc., I could see charges being brought, but trying to convict would be tough. Thanks for the input. I see how the post might be misconstrued.

TT, thanks for the reasonable reply to a reasonable question. People can also be impeached for lying so the bar is not as high as you might think. That is why Nixon got in such hot water over watergate, he lied about it.

It may be that he gets impeached. It's more likely that he's one and done unless something big happens in his favor or unless he really moves to the center, neither of which are likely.

The Vegas Art Guy: I am watching "Sean Hannity" on TV and he is talking to Karl Rove. Rove is saying it is not good policy for a new administration to go after the old administration over policy differences. I seems to me the Obama is looking for reasons to attack the Bush administration, it's "people," and do everything he/they can to make said administration look bad and make his look good. There are so many things about him that are questionable and I do not like. He makes Clinton look like an amateur.

TT,
I hope it doesn't come down to that. I can't imagine an impeachment is ever good for the country. Voting him out is, I think the ultimate retribution. Good post.

It's simple why he is doing it. It's to divert attention away from what his administration is doing. So many people are at least willing to believe that Bush is at fault for everything from the fall of Adam and Eve to the credit crunch he'd be stupid not to do it in the short term. The problem is that the blame game will only work for a short period of time.

Law and Order Teacher: I agree. He needs to be GONE in 2012. I will do EVERYTHING I can to help in making that happen.

The Vegas Art Guy: You are correct, sir. The Blame Game will get old quick. I have been using The Blame Game in the teacher’s lounge at lunch. Whenever a fellow educator (either liberal or conservative) starts to bitch about something, I jump in and tell everyone to hold it. I tell them I know you they came blame. They can blame Obama. I get laughs from the conservatives and BS from the liberals. It is great to get back at them at times. PS: It all is in good natured fun (and they all know that).

The health care legislation provides for significant and posibly total loss of our privacy and independance as Americans. This legislation in repleat with government oversight and control of our finances and our rights as members of the United States of America. There are sections of this bill which allow the governemtn to declare a persons incompetency and parts of the bill which require the total control of information to every Americans financial situations. One needs only a short step to see a government declaration of mental incompetancy against someone who is questioning the direction of a president ( just as we are in this venue), and that possibility is allowed in the present healthcare legislation. The government would then control our finances and our ability to protest.
this healthcare legislation must be defeated and Obama and his group of cronies must be removed sooner than later.

Perhaps none of you can find an impeachable offense, but I can. First of all he lie about his citizenship. He's not a naturalized citizen as the Constitution requires. That phony birth certificate he provided was an obvious fake. Why did not one ask why it took him nearly a week following the news, to get himself to Hawaii to visit his sick grandmother? And why is it that a private meeting with Hawaii's governor was his first order of business? And why are the records on Obama now sealed?

Second, Obama appointed Senator Hillary Clinton to be his Secretary of State--a clear violation of the US Constitution, 14th Amendment, section 3. Look it up. This guy is a crook, and it took the most stupid of voters to elect him.

What specifically did the terrorists who rammed planes into buildings do? All who flew had license to solo. Their weapons werent illegal though the use of them can be considered rude. They "took the aircraft in the wrong direction" eh?

I could site takovers of biz and otherwise betraying oaths across the board of fed gov, and that they all giggle when they take the sacred oath.
It's not "the wrong direction" it's deliberate sabotage and mockery of everything this country once stood for.

I for one can NOT in good conscience ever pledge allegiance to this fascist heading gov ever again until you, my brothers, forget pomp and circumstance, forget voting, forget impeaching, and we all stand up as men befitting what the forefathers risked everything for.
We PRESUME unalienable rights, we denounce federal authority over us, withdraw our consent to BE governed by an unconstitutional republic, however long that degeneration took to get here, and we stand on the same principles that have always united us under one flag.
Liberty or bullet, Obama. Which will it be? I really don't care which at this point. I won't live as an underling to ANYONE EVER AGAIN. Nor will any true American.

The reason Obama and Nelson should be impeached aswell as a few other officials.

Bribery:
a form of pecuniary corruption, is an act implying money or gift given that alters the behavior of the recipient. Bribery constitutes a crime and is defined by Black's Law Dictionary as the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in discharge of a public or legal duty. The bribe is the gift bestowed to influence the recipient's conduct. It may be any money, good, right in action, property, preferment, privilege, emolument, object of value, advantage, or merely a promise or undertaking to induce or influence the action, vote, or influence of a person in an official or public capacity.

Bought Health Care Votes
----------

According to the Wall Street Journal, here are a few of the payoffs:

-- $300 million in federal money for Sen. Mary Landrieu in Louisiana

-- $100 million for Sen. Chris Dodd's favorite Connecticut hospital

-- $3 billion to $5 billion for Sen. Bill Nelson so that Florida seniors who currently have Medicare Advantage benefits won't lose them

-- $100 million for Sen. Ben Nelson so Nebraska residents don't have to pay any of the additional costs for the bill's Medicaid expansion (That's a pretty good deal, certainly better than the earlier threat to close Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha if Nelson wouldn't vote aye on the health care bill.)

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

In my opinion, subsidies, promises or payments that put one state on an unequal financial platform from other states in relation to the implementation of a law is a violation of federal law. That should be considered a high crime and should be an impeachable offense. Part of the responsibility of the federal government should be to see that laws are applied fairly so that states can govern without federal prejudice or unfair favoritism.
