Sorry to hijack your thread, but I just watched "The Shootist" again for I don't know the hundredth time. Each time I am moved by the performance. He went out the way he wanted to. That is what we all have a right to expect. I don't advocate assisted suicide, but Books said I'm gone on my terms. Awesome. Check out McCain on "Courage" on my sight.

Law and Order Teacher: I know exactly what you mean. The youth (and even some older people) do not understand the "ideals" of a man like John Wayne. It is all gimmie...gimmie...gimmie and what is in it for me. They do not respect the elders (or betters) and if Clinton or Obama reach the White House, things will get a lot worse in the USA. We need someone like The Duke running the country. McCain may not be on the same level with The Duke, but he is certainly better than thsoe two. And at least would have strong military and a moral leader of our country.
