The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was another show from my youth that I watched religously. By today's standards, it was campy and corny, but we did love it. When we played spies, I was always Napoleon Solo and my brother was Illya Kuryakin. We got to be them because we had U.N.C.L.E. guns and no else in the neighborhood did, so they were always the T.H.U.R.S.H. agents.

This is a trailer clip I found. If I can ever find the original black and white opening for the first year, I will post it. I will also post the later opening that was in color.

Enjoy!!!

Napoleon Solo: [calling on the intercom] Illya, we have a situation here that needs your special talents. Are you free?
Illya Kuryakin: [from intercom] No man is free who works for a living. But, I'm available.

Awww,,,,

Now that's what I'm talking about. Illya Kuryakin made my teenage heart flutter. And I still love McCallum in NCIS.

Thanks for making my day and paying for the ticket back to my younger days.

nunoftheabove: I hope nobody attempts a remake of this.
