Judge Doubles O.J. Simpson's Bail

Hands cuffed at his waist and a defeated expression on his face, O.J. Simpson listened to a judge blister him Wednesday for "arrogance or ignorance or both" for breaking bail terms in a robbery case.

"I don't know, Mr. Simpson, what the heck you were thinking, or maybe that's the problem — you weren't," Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass lectured as she doubled his bail to $250,000. "I don't know if it's just arrogance. I don't know if it's ignorance," she said. "But you've been locked up at the Clark County Detention Center since Friday because of arrogance or ignorance — or both."

Hell yes it was arrogance. OJ thinks he is invincible and can do whatever he wants.

I wish she would have left his sorry butt in jail until the trial.

Katie Couric Shows Her True Self

When Katie Couric took the anchor chair on the CBS Evening News, I knew that she was not a serious journalist. The post I wrote on December 6, 2007 can be read here.

Now it comes to past the proof that Couric is not a serious journalist.

From MyDamnChannel.com comes a gem: Katie Couric yukking it up with CBS News production staff off-the-air on primary election night in New Hampshire. You can view it below.

Some of the facts that come out:
1) Couric admitting she doesn't know much about Huckabee
2) Couric talking about how she thinks she creeped out Cindy McCain because she couldn't stop staring at her eyes.
3) She is heard to say "I'm always like oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit"
4) "Give me one interesting exit poll, please!"
5) "Oh shit, I have seven seconds. [shrieks]"

You can't expect Couric to keep her persona perfect every simple moment she is off-air. However she should know that being a public figure, her appearance and demeanor are a reflection of her job, career, and employer.

It's the second time since her stay at CBS that such off-air video has made it to the Internet. The first time, she was mocking predecessor Dan Rather.

How can one trust her to deliver the news if she acts like that. But I expect no less from Couric. She is a middle age face who thinks she is so much more than she really is.

I have to admit, I do watch her broadcast occasionally. It is interesting to see her present the news. No wonder CBS trails all other major network news programs.

I will stick with Fox News, as I always have.

UFO Reported over Stephenville, Texas

Several dozen people, including a pilot, county constable and business owners, in Stephenville, Texas have reported seeing a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.

Yahoo News has an article about it. You can access it by clicking
here.

I guess the UFOs are back in Texas.

I have never seen one myself, but I know people who claim they have. I would LOVE to see a UFO.

I hope the military is on top of this. It might be some terrorists or illegal immigrants have found a new way to enter the USA.

Murderer/Rapist Cesar Laurean May Be Headed for Texas

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Marine Corporal Cesar Armando Laurean, who is the key suspect in the brutal slaying of Marine Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach was spotted in Louisiana and could be headed into Texas.

I would be willing to bet he is headed to Mexico. If I were the authorities, I would be staking out all bus stops on said bus's route.

It is a matter of time until this homicidal rapist is caught. This is a guy that I bet the police hope would resist.

Onslow County (North Carolina) Sheriff Ed Brown, said earlier that evidence in the case "leads us to believe that he would be a dangerous and violent person if put in a corner."

I hope they quickly get this animal and give him what he deserves.

Arrest Warrant Issued in Maria Lauterback Murder

An arrest warrant has been issued for Marine Corporal Cesar Armando Laurean in the death of Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach. Laurean is charged with first-degree murder. Authorities have positively identified the remains found in a shallow pit in Laurean’s back yard as Lauterbach’s.

They need to catch this animal FAST and punish him severely. I wonder how many other skeletons this guy has in his closet. I do not believe this was an "act of passion." His wife may also be involved.

What a piece of trash. He is hiding out like the chicken little puck he is. If he was such a man, why is he hiding?

For months after a pregnant 20-year-old Marine accused a colleague of rape, her family says, she continued to work alongside her attacker and endured harassment at Camp Lejeune.

As authorities recovered Maria Lauterbach's remains Saturday from a fire pit where they suspect Laurean burned and buried her body, her family asked why authorities didn't treat her case with greater urgency.

My question is why her superiors allowed her to remain in such a hostile environment? It seems to me the Marines should have removed her from to a more secure environment and possibly arrested Laurean a bit sooner.

A great number of people need to answer questions on the tragic death of this young woman.

Even More Information on O.J. Simpson Bail Revocation

The New York Post has published an article giving more information on O.J. Simpson and his latest brush with the law. Below is the article by Jennifer Fermino dated January 12, 2008.

The bail bondsman who received an expletive laced voicemail from OJ Simpson thinks the mysterious stranger who threatened to tell authorities about the phone rant worked for Ron Goldman's family.

Miguel Pereira, the owner of You Ring We Spring, also said the Juice owes him more than $18,750 for handling his $125,000 bail back in September.

Pereira ended up passing along the Juice's incriminating voicemail to the Clark County DA's Office, who ordered the Heisman Trophy winner to jail.

"I don't want to be held liable for it," Pereira told The Post, adding he said he thought that the mysterious stranger who knew about the voicemail worked for the Goldman family, who for years have been engaged in a bitter lawsuit with Simpson.

"I believe he's working for the Goldman family. He was asking a lot of specific questions," Pereira said.

But Fred Goldman said yesterday he knows nothing about Simpson's latest problems. "I'd like to tell you that is accurate but I don't think it's true," he said. "I wish, but unfortunately, no."

Pereira said he didn't think much of Simpson's message when he first heard it in November.
But he suspects the man who later called him was a private eye who had tapped Simpson's phone because it's the only way he'd know about the message.

"I believe that somebody was listening to Mr. Simpson's conversations," said Pereira.

When Pereira told Simpson why he passed the message along, he said the gridiron great groused, "Everybody's out to get me."

Pereira on Friday escorted Simpson from his home in Miami to jail in Las Vegas.

"Mr. Simpson was relaxed on the flight," said Pereira. "We were talking throughout the flight. He was expressing his concerns."

One of those pressing concerns for Simpson was his eagerly anticipated weekend card game.

"He was upset that he was going to miss his poker game that was planned at his house," said Pereira.

The plot thickens. I will keep abreast of this story and post more as it develops.

Clemens Speaks Before Texas High School Baseball Coaches

Roger Clemens spoke today to members of the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association today in Waco. It was reported in the Houston Chronicle.

I have seen Roger Clemens pitch in person. He was remarkable. However, I think he probably did use performance enhancing drugs. Too many things in his statement do not add up, and I think where there is smoke, there is fire.

He was free to speak to the coaches and they were free to listen. The article stated he was warmly accepted. I would expect no less from a group that had invited him.

However I would love to have been there to see and hear him speak. It might have given me more insight into how he acted.

No matter how this goes, I will keep up with this story.

More on OJ Simpson's Bail Revocation

More facts have emerged concerning the bail revocation of OJ Simpson. It appears he had contact with co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart who, along with Simpson, is charged with armed robbery. He left a message with a bail bondsman to give to Stewart. The conversation is below:

Hey, Miguel, it's me. I just want, want C.J. to know that the whole thing
all the time he was telling me that shit, you know, I hope he was telling me
the truth. Don't be trying to change the mother fucking shit now, mother
fucking asshole. I'm tired of this shit. Fed up with mother fuckers
changing what they told me. All right."
Simpson has to be the biggest fool on the planet. Did he think this conversation would not come out? I guess he feels that he is above question and whatever he does is a misunderstanding or someone else's fault.

He already got away with two murders and now things he can run roughshod over anyone he chooses. I do not know how innocent this conversation was, but it does sound to me like he was trying in intimidate Stewart.
I hope they throw his sorry butt in jail until the trial, and after that find him guilty. Then he can rot in jail like the criminal he is.

OJ Simpson's Bail Revoked

NEWS FLASH

Various news sources are reporting that OJ Simpson's bail as been revoked and he is being transported back to Las Vegas.

A judge revoked Simpson's bail and he is apparently headed back to a Las Vegas jail, according to news reports. Simpson was arrested in September on robbery charges. He is flying from Miami to Las Vegas with a bail bondsman. Simpson reportedly had to surrender his passport.

District Court Judge Jackie Glass stated that the district attorney believes Simpson is in violation of his bond, and he will be required to appear in court Wednesday morning.

He was flying today from Miami to Los Angeles and was expected to arrive in the early evening, according to Fox News.

He was reportedly taken in custody by Miguel Pereira, a bail bondsman of You Ring We Spring Bail Bonds

One has to love the name of the bonding company: "You Ring We Spring Bail Bonds."

The LYING of Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton told another lie yesterday. Well, it might not have been a lie, but it was defiantly an untruth.

While campaigning for support in Las Vegas, she was at a rally in a Mexican restaurant, a man stood up and hollered "My wife is illegal." She responded, "No woman is illegal."

My question is "If she is in the United States illegally, why is she not illegal?" I guess the meaning of the "illegal" must be explored, juts list the meaning of the word "is" was with her husband.

This untruth must be added to the long list of Hillary lies, fibs, and prevarications listed below.

  1. Her claim to be named after Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb to the summit of Mt. Everest. "So when I was born, she called me Hillary, and she (my mother) always told me it's because of Sir Edmund Hillary."
  2. Hillary is at a race-relations conference in Boston with some teenagers, and she claims that she was on the soccer team, and a player from the opposing team told her that she hated her kind, and Hillary said- 'you don't even know me,' to which the girl replied- 'I don't have to know you to know I hate you.' An attempt to try to make the kids believe she knew exactly where they were coming from, and from personal experience at that! Too bad this is almost surely a lie, since there were no girl's soccer teams at her high school in the 1960's when this supposed event took place.
  3. Hillary claimed that her daughter Chelsea was in danger on September 11, claiming that her daughter went for a jog down to the towers themselves, and when the planes hit, she saw the buildings right there and was nearly in peril. Too bad again, since Chelsea totally debunked her mother's phony story in a magazine article. She was really on the other side of the city, and was woken up with a phone call telling her to watch the news- and she never got anywhere near the towers, instead she was staring shocked at the TV screen most of the day.

I will post more on this subject as it becomes available.

Sir Edmund Hillary Dead at 88

Sir Edmund Hillary, the unassuming beekeeper who conquered Mount Everest to win renown as one of the 20th century's greatest adventurers, has died, New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark announced Friday. He was 88.

The gangling New Zealander devoted much of his life to aiding the mountain people of Nepal and took his fame in stride, preferring to be called "Ed" and considering himself just an ordinary beekeeper.

"Sir Ed described himself as an average New Zealander with modest abilities. In reality, he was a colossus. He was an heroic figure who not only 'knocked off' Everest but lived a life of determination, humility, and generosity," Clark said in a statement.

As he and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay descended from the May 29 attempt on the mountain, Hillary told fellow climbers: "We knocked the bastard off."

He was one of the people I looked up to as a child and teenager. He was a man's man and accomplished one of the most remarkable feats ever achieved.

Rest in Peace, Sir Ed! You will not be forgotten.

Views from the Front of My Computer Screen

I sit in my chair, looking at the computer screen and wonder what to post today. I cannot find anything in the news that catches my eye. Yes, there was a primary yesterday. Hillary Clinton and John McCain won. The "powers that be" say they had upsets. I really do not know. The polls had Barach Obama and Mitt Romney winning, but when you think about it, how did "they' know?

The current election has been the most "vocal" event I can remember. I first voted in the 1972 Presidential Election. I stood in line for three hours to cast my vote. I recall it as if is yesterday. I voted for Richard Nixon. Yes, I admit it. I voted for Nixon. Even as a first time voter in 1971, I was already a conservative, even though I was not as conservative as I am now. I guess you could have called me a moderate.

This comes from a person who was raised in a Democratic home. My mother switched party affiliation when I was in high school to support the Republicans. My father, however, remained a Democrat until the day he died.

I never could understand why he was a Democrat. He was very conservative in his views, even going so far as not to allow my brother and me to have long hair. I guess it was his upbringing. His parents were Democrats; his grandparents were Democrats, so he was a Democrat.
Bill O'Reilly stated on his radio shows yesterday that he was a registered independent. I guess I could be called an independent, but I do not see any of the ideals of the Democrats that I support.

Would I vote for a Democrat if he/she were the best choice. My answer is yes, I would. I just do not see any views of the democrats that I support.

The Republicans however need to get on the ball and start to build a strong base for the election. I do not see any one of the candidates who has all the same views as I. Nonetheless, I still hope for one of them to jump out there and gain the support they need to defeat the Democrats. If this does not happen, I see Obama or Clinton moving into the White House and our country heading into one of the worse periods we have ever endured. God help us if that happens.

McCain Wins NH Republican Primary

John McCain has been decalred the winner in the New Hampshire Republican Primary. Here are the results with 66% of the votes in:

McCain-36.68%
Romney-31.64%
Huchabee-11.24%
Giuliani-8.53%
Paul-7.74%
Thompson-1.18%

Well, on to the next state.

Clinton Wins NH Democratic Primary

Fox news, along with the AP, is predicting Hillary Clinton as the winner of the New Hampshire Democratic Primary. With 71% of the votes cast, Clinton has 39% and Barack Obama has 36%, followed by Edwards with 17%, Richardson with 5% and Kucinich with 1%.

This is a surprise, but I think the "tearing up" clip of Hillary may have had a part in it.

Well, time will tell.

Hillary Taking a Nose Dive?

It seems to me that Hillary Clinton's drive to the White House may be on the said of the road with a flat tire. After being beaten in Iowa by Barack Obama and looking at the possibility of losing in New Hampshire, she might not be the shoe-in she felt she was.

One can only hope it continues. Obama is giving her a good fight, but I think it will come down the the convention.

No matter who they (the Democrats) nominate, it will not be good for the country. The only chance we have is if a Republican gets elected.

I still have not decided whom to support. I will keep researching and looking for a candidate.

Clemens Holds Press Conference; Plays Tape

Roger Clemens held a press conference in Houston concerning his alleged use of performance enhancing drugs today (Monday).

I was listening to it on the radio and saw a piece of it on television. Clemens who had his lawyer Rusty Hardin with him, seemed very upset and was hostile to the press.

In addition, I have listened to the taped conversation between him (Clemens) and his former trainer Brian McNamee that was made on Friday. McNamee never admitted he was lying and Clemens never admitted he didn't use the drugs. Clemens did say he didn't do it (whatever that means).

McNamee asked Clemens repeatedly "What do you want me to do?" Clemens continually said he wanted someone to come out and tell the truth.

At the end of the tape, Clemens said he would visit with some people and get back with McNamee as to what he could do.

During the press conference, he stated he could not give a rats ass about numbers and records and the Hall of Fame. I can understand his being upset, but I think he is protesting too much.

Finally, Clemens filed a defamation suit against McNamee after the taped phone call. I will keep up on this and post more thoughts later.

Romney, Thompson, Hunter Win Delegates in Wyoming Caucus

It has been reported by Reuters that Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, and Duncan Hunter have won delegates in the Wyoming Republican presidental caucus. Below is a copy of the article from Reuters.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won the Wyoming Republican presidential caucus on Saturday, taking seven of the state's 12 delegates with nearly all precincts reporting, according to a state party official.

Former Sen. Fred Thompson of Tennessee won two delegates and Rep. Duncan Hunter of California won one, said Amy Larimer, executive director of the Wyoming Republican Party.

Larimer said two delegates remained undecided while officials counted all the votes. A final tally was expected later in the day.

The victory gives Romney supporters something to tout as the focus of the U.S. presidential election shifts to Tuesday's New Hampshire primary. Romney suffered a setback earlier this week in the Iowa caucuses where former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee soundly beat him.

Cheating Mother "Explains" Essay for Hannah Montana Tickets

Various news services have reported that Priscilla Ceballos has "apologized" for a "bad decision" in trying to win Hannah Montana concerts for her daughter.

She said she hadn't intended to mislead the contest sponsor but got caught up in helping her daughter "realize her dream of seeing Hannah Montana."

My response: YEAH...RIGHT!!!

Cebellos read a statement on NBC's "Today" show Friday morning, stating, "Please accept my heartfelt apology and please do not punish my child for my mistake." Ceballos apologized specifically to the military and military families for falsely claiming the girl's father died in a roadside bombing in Iraq.

"I just wanted to help my daughter write a compelling story,"
she said. "There is no more compelling story than the struggle and sacrifices of our military and their families. I meant no disrespect. I just made a bad decision which I sincerely regret."

This sounds like famous line of Rhett Butler to Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind - "You're like the thief that isn't sorry he stole, but is very, very sorry that he got caught."

This woman is trying to cover her tracks and do spin control. It is obviously on the advise of her lawyer. She was attempting to steal something by using false statements to get it.

She is only sorry that she got caught. If she had not got caught, does anyone think she would have come to the realization she had done anything wrong? I THINK NOT!

Some comments on my previous posts on this topic state that we should not criticize the child as it was the mote hr that instigated the act.

I agree 100 percent. The child is not at fault. Children do what they are told and taught. I know the mother set this up and used her daughter as a tool in this fraud.

The daughter deserved a better mother than this. Some say this has been blown way out of proportion. I say it has not. What she did was reprehensible. She deserved to be charge with fraud and at the very least deserves some sort of penalty for her fraudulent actions.

Her appearance on television was not an apology. It was an explanation in an attempt to do spin control. She is not sorry. She is afraid she may get charged with a crime, possibly convicted, and at the very least, get the crap beat out of her.

I guess that smirk on her face is being wiped off by public indignation and scorn.

The Logic of Hillary Clinton

I found this joke in an e mail and could not help passing it on. It follows the same logic that Hillary Clinton is using to defend her experience to be the President of the United States.

In a news conference Deanna Favre, wife of Brett Favre announced she will be the starting QB for the Packers this coming Sunday. She claimed she is qualified to be starting QB because she has spent the past 16 years married to Brett while he played QB for the Packers.

Because of this she understands how to pick up a corner blitz and knows the terminology of the Packers offense. A poll of Packers fans shows that 50% of those polled supported the move.

Does this sound unbelievable to you? Yet Hillary Clinton makes the same claims as to why she is qualified to be President and 50% of democrats polled agreed.

Results of the Iowa Caucuses

Texas Truth followed the results of the Iowa Caucuses last night. I know it was only one state and it was Iowa, but it was fun to watch how the various candidates reacted to the incoming results.

Here are the official results obtained from
Politico.com:

Republican
1. Huckabee 34.29%
2. Romney 25.32%
3. Thompson 13.37%
4. McCain 13.13%
5. Paul 9.99%
6. Giuliani 3.46%
7. Hunter 0.44%

8. Cox 0.00%

Democrats
1. Obama 37.54%
2. Edwards 29.71%
3. Clinton 29.43%
4. Richardson 2.12%
5. Biden 0.92% (withdrew from race on Janaury 4, 2008, right after the caucus)
6. Dodd 0.04% (withdrew from the race late on Janaury 4, 2008)
7. Kucinich 0.00%
8. Gravel 0.00%

The Democratic caucuses attracted an estimated 220,000 voters; the Republicans, nearly 115,000.

I did correctly predict the Obama victory, but figured Romney would have a better showing. Giuliani campaigned very little in Iowa after his brief illness, so I was not surprised at his placing. Fred Thompson's finish was eye-opening, as I did not fell he would finish that high.

Hillary Clinton's showing is surprising. Garnering 29.43% of the voters means that 70.57% of Iowa democrats rejected her bid for the White House. Is this a preview of the future? Only time will tell.

Texas Truth is yet to pick a candidate to support. Time will also help with that decision.

Bill Clinton as a Supreme Court Justice?

I was surfing the net this evening, looking for interesting news items and came across an article on CNN.com. The article was about Hillary Clinton and one possible outcome if she is elected as President.

This humble writer takes what CNN (Clinton News Network) publishes with a grain of salt. However, this article did grab my attention and I felt compelled to expound on it.

One source as stated if Hillary Clinton is elected to the White House, she may appoint Bill Clinton as a Supreme Court Justice. I have to believe that would fit right into the Clinton's goal of total control in the United States.

That is all we need. A disbarred lawyer in control of the law who married a woman who became President after failing the bar exam in her first attempt.

Just another reason to jump on the Sean Hannity's "The Stop Hillary Express."

Iowa Caucuses Tomorrow

The Iowa Caucuses will begin tomorrow. This is the first meeting leading up to the 2008 Presidential election. Even though it seems like all the candidates have been on the campaign trail forever, we have a long way to go before we select our new President.

Texas Truth has not decided whom to support, but I can tell you one thing, it will not be a democrat. With that said, I am going to predict the following outcome of the Iowa caucuses.

Republican
1. Mitt Romney
2. Mike Huckabee
3. Rudy Giuliani
4. John McCain
5. Duncan Hunter
6. Fred Thompson
7. Ron Paul
8. John Cox

Democrat
1. Barack Obama
2. Hillary Clinton
3. John Edwards
4. Dennis Kucinich
5. Bill Richardson
6. Joseph Biden

7. Chris Dodd
8. Mike Gravel

Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburg Penguins Ready to Drop Puck in Outdoor Winter Classic

More than 73,000 fans are expected to cram Ralph Wilson Stadium on Tuesday to witness history as the hometown Buffalo Sabres will face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL Winter Classic. It will be the second regular-season outdoor game and first in the United States.

With bitter temperatures and a steady snowfall many of the players and fans alike will get a reminder of what it was like growing up and playing on frozen ponds and lakes alike.

While there is the novelty of playing outdoors both teams will be sure to remember that it is a regular-season match-up and with the Penguins standing at 20-16-2 (42 points.) and the Sabres at 19-16-2 (40 points.) and the Eastern Conference sporting nine teams with 40-45 points the outcome is still important.

I was flipping from channels from bowl game to bowl game and came across this on NBC. I just have to watch. This is a GREAT event. I LOVE IT!!!!

I am not into hockey, but I do attend an occasional Houston Aeros game when I am in Houston. This is just too good to pass up. Life is a journey, and since I cannot be there to witness this event firsthand, I will view it on television.

By the way....GO PENGUINS!!!!

Garland Girl's Fake Contest Entry Thrown Out

The 6-year-old Garland, Texas girl whose winning entry in a Hannah Montana essay contest was found to be false will not collect the prize of seeing the singer in concert after all.

Mary Drolet, chief executive officer of Club Libby Lu, the company aimed at "tween" girls that sponsored the contest, announced Saturday that the prize was being withdrawn. The announcement came a day after a Club Libby Lu spokesperson initially said the company would honor the prize even though the girl's father was not a soldier and did not die in Iraq, as the essay said.

I am glad to see this. The loser mother and her daughter do not need to win any prizes. I feel sorry for the young girl; however, her mother is a piece of work.

Earlier today, I found her MySpace page and it was filled with gang-banger, bling-bling trash that showed her true nature.

Media has reported that members of her family had been involved in criminal activity and has criminal records. I would be willing to bet this woman is following in the footsteps of her relatives.

The girl's mother, Priscilla Ceballos, refused to comment at the store Friday or when reached at home Saturday. A woman who answered the phone at Ms. Ceballos' home referred calls to an attorney but did not provide contact information.

A few questions come to mind:

1. Was there ever a father of the daughter in the picture?

2. Was the father actually in the military?

3. Who is Jonathon Menjivar, the man listed at the father who dies in Iraq?

4. Does this woman have a criminal history?

5. Are she, her daughter, and the relatives who live with her legally in the country?

6. Will she face criminal charges as a result of this attempt fraud?

I will keep abreast of this story and post further finds as soon as they become available.

Mother Lies About Iraq Death to Win Hannah Montana Tickets

A 6-year-old Garland girl won a Hannah Montana makeover and concert tickets Friday with an essay that started, "My daddy died this year in Iraq ..."

But the girl's mother, Priscilla Ceballos, now admits that the essay, along with information she supplied about the supposedly deceased soldier, is false, said Robyn Caulfield, a spokeswoman for Club Libby Lu.

This is just symptomatic of the attitude of today's generation and their view that anything is acceptable to achieve a result.

Some have stated in various forums that this woman made a mistake and she perhaps did not understand the rules of the contest. Others state that this incident is not typical of this generation. I responded to these comments as follows:

Every generation has good apples and bad apples. However, there is a distinct attitude among this current generation that anything goes and that the end justifies the means. I think it may have to do with the fact that the current generation has never had to face hardship like its predecesore.

My generation had Vietnam and the Cold War, our parents faced WW2, our grandparents dealt with WW1 and the Depression.

This current generation has never had to do without and face TRUE hardship. I, and I am willing to bet many others, feel the same way. The sad fact is that this generation will not realize its current situation, behavior, and attitude will be a detriment to themselves and society.

I think they will eventually figure it out. After all, Winston Churchill said, "If you are not a liberal at 20, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at 40, you have no brain."

My message to this generation..."Grow up, look around, and fly right. The world does not center around you."

This woman is a piece of trash. She deserves all the condemnation and criticism that she receives.

I will keep up on this story. It seems that there must be criminal charges in this woman's future.

More on Houston's Status as a Sanctuary City

As I have been reading the comments and posting on the Houston Chronicle's forum concerning Houston as a sanctuary city, I have come across some very liberal views by some wacko posters.

They are posted below. I have also listed a link to their information page on the Chronicle's web site. Click on the poster's name to link to their page.

PS: Their comments are posted EXACTLY as they were on the Houston Chronicle's website.

Does the clod think the Federal Funding should go to Omaha? What a ditz. His show is so filled with spite and inaccuracies. and false half truths, that anyone who would listen to his trash is crazy. Long live the PD chief of both Houston and Pasadena

I have spent the last several minutes reading this article and ALL the comments that have sprouted forth from it...and all I can say is that I am so disappointed so many of my fellow Houstonians/Texans.

First it was all the kerapp about the US being a "Christian nation" which is patently false, now we're denying that slavery had anything to do with the civil war? Please. As I said twice now, there were multiple issues that started the war, but slavery (or the attempt to abolish it) was in the center of the conflict.

As I have stated in previous posts, there are some crazy people out there. I wonder what color the sky is in their world?

Is Houston Viewed as a Sanctuary City?

In today's issue of the Houston Chronicle, an article is posted about Houston being viewed as a sanctuary city. Since the Joe Horn incident in Pasadena, Texas, much has been written concerning illegal immigration and its cause of this situation.

Bill O'Reilly had a piece on Joe Horn and in it, alluded to the fact that Houston is a sanctuary city. Much is bring posted on his comment and the debate on Houston as a sanctuary city.

I have been reading and posting on that forum. It is amazing some of the left wing views that are posted. Everyone knows that the Houston Chronicle is blatantly left wing.

Click on over and read some of the posts. I will be posting some of the better ones on this forum.

By the way, I post as "TexasTruthSayer" on that forum.

Song Lyrics: Ding Dong the Trash is Dead. (An Ode to Joe Horn)

Here a little ditty I adapted and put to the music of the song "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" from "The Wizard of Oz." Who is speaking the lines precedes the lines. Enjoy.

DING DONG THE TRASH IS DEAD

(lyrics adapted by Texas Truth)

Citizens of Pasadena, Texas:
Ding Dong! The Trash is dead. Which old Trash? The Criminal Trash!
Ding Dong! The Criminal Trash is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Criminal Trash is dead. They’ve gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Criminal Trash is dead!

Mayor of Pasadena:
As Mayor of the Pasadena City, In the County of the Land of Texas, I welcome you most regally.

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
But we've got to verify it legally, to see

Mayor of Pasadena:
To see?

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
If they

Mayor of Pasadena:
If they?

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
Are morally, ethic'lly

Legal Pasadena Resident Number 1:
Spiritually, physically

Legal Pasadena Resident Number 2:
Positively, absolutely

Citizens of Pasadena, Texas:
Undeniably and reliably Dead

Harris County, Texas Coroner:
As Coroner I must aver, I thoroughly examined them.
And they’re not only merely dead, They’re really most sincerely dead.

Mayor of Pasadena
Then this is a day of Independence For all Pasadenaians and their descendants

Joe Horn’s Lawyer:
If any.

Mayor of Pasadena:
Yes, let the joyous news be spread The Criminal Trash at last is dead!
