Talk Radio Hosts Undecided as to Presidential Candidates

Newsmax.com has a story about the major conservative radio talk show hosts have not decided whom to support in the upcoming Presidential race. You can read it by clicking here.

Rush Limbaugh stated this past Monday, "I can see possibly not supporting the Republican nominee this election, and I never thought that I would say that in my life. You don’t have a genuine down-the-list conservative” among the GOP candidates.

Michael Savage says he has not endorsed any candidate "at this time."

Mike Gallagher says, "I definitely dislike Huckabee. He is very much a fiscal liberal, wrong on illegal immigration, and he loves big government." But Gallagher, again, doesn't have one candidate he's backing.

I also have not decided whom to back. As I have repeatedly stated, none of them are the true Conservative like Ronald Reagan was. They all have liberal leanings. Some are merely RINOs and are no different that Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, or John Edwards.

One think I do know is that I WILL vote for the lesser of two evils. Even a RINO is better in the White House than any of those three Democrats that are running.

Couldn't agree more. I know what Rush and the rest are trying to say, however, when faced with the possibility of another Clinton or Obama in the White House, all republicans will sprint to their voting booths in droves.

One side note, has it occurred to anyone that this could be the begging of change in the Rep party. It's possible that these new candidates represent the ideas of the right of center voter, not the far-right-of-center. One reason for such a shift could be people are tired of the Polarized party politics that has started to plague us. Being to far right or to far left (Even though being that far left should be punishable by death,LOL) prohibits change. Appealing to the "moderate" (Slight right or left) of center, would allow more to get down in Washington. In a country of 300 million people, lets face, we are never always going to agree. We have to comprise (on somethings).

Esaba[CZ]: I agree that we may need to compromise on some things. I just want a candidate that is tough on illegal immigrants and will support our troops to the fullest.

enjoli: Some one needs to step up and be a candidate we can all rally behind. If not, we are going to end up with Super Bitch, Breck Hair Man, or Oprah's Love Child in the White House.

GBW has fractured the GOP and given the Dems a lot of ammo for the upcoming election. I don't see any of the current field as much different than the other side. The best hope for Republicans is that Bill continues to run his mouth and alienate some of the more moderate dems.

Unless the RNC can find some true conservative martyr willing to step up to the plate, I am going to be holding my nose and choosing from a really smelly slate.

nunoftheabove: It does get more and more depressing as time goes on. I was a big supporter of GWB, but his stand on immigration and "No Child Left Behind" has left me with doubts.

I have also been very concerned by the closeness of GHWB (daddy) and Bill Clinton.

I wonder if GWB will be as chummy with the Clintons after he leaves office.

I am in a quandary as to whom to vote for, but as I have posted previously, it may end up being the lesser of two evils (but I will NEVER vote for any of the Democrats).
